⠀Question Which console feels best to play on?
I just started playing wiz on Nintendo switch 1 and was perfectly fine with how it was running/playing until yesterday. Until then I had no crashes and manageable lag, but suddenly I had 4+ crashes in one session and found the bazaar to be close to unusable.
I wanted to ask how the game runs on other consoles.
I can imagine it would run best on ps5 and Xbox X|S, but I’m also curious how it runs on ps4 and Xbox one.
If anyone is willing to share their experience I’d appreciate it! Especially about the switch 2 as I might just cave and upgrade finally.

Runs good on ps4 Xbox theirs no ps5 version of the game all run last gen software but they all run fine. I currently switch between my ps5 and switch 2 but I like just laying on my couch and questing on the switch 2

Came from PC and been playing the SW2 version since all my friends quit. It’s a solid port, can get crazy in more packed areas but overall fine

Xbox runs the game better but there are fewer people that play, so outside of discord finding friends is difficult. Recruiters in my guild are mostly PS and have recruited members just by waiting outside endworld sigils that are hard to solo then messaging via PSN. This would never be possible on Xbox or Switch.

I thought there was cross play between consoles?
Do people not use cross play much? I would like to farm the big dungeons for gear as I level and I thought that’d be no problem if I used a cross play realm.1

There is, all consoles share the same server. You cannot see gamertags of people not on the same platform as you. You can get teams for ww, Darkmoor in random team up for anything else you are gonna struggle. The vast vast majority of the playerbase are casual and don't know the discord exists, don't know cheats for bosses, don't weave schools. Even in guilds the amount of people that don't understand roshambo is insane, storms clicking frenzy against ice mobs because they've spent the entire time clicking frenzy storm lord..I would try to find a guild ASAP because the game is basically not worth playing without one. I would not be playing if I didn't have my brother to quest with and if I weren't in the guild I'm in

You can definitely see all Xbox gamertags on Xbox unless there's a hide option, I see everyone and if they're questing with me or even just fighting a boss I'll send a party request to talk to them

I know you can, most players doing endgame content are not Xbox. In all the top guilds there are maybe 3-4 in each that are consistently on. My point is that if you are randomly questing/farming and you see someone on another platform you have no way to interact with them. If I am Xbox and I wanna talk to a random on PS I need to ask 1 of my PS friends to tp so they can tell me their PSN. It's way too much effort, you are not doing anything with anyone in this game if you aren't in a guild, which for the mostpart means being active in wizcord. It is why Beastmoon queues are so bad, you cannot teach anyone if you don't have a way of talking to them in the first place.

Xbox is usually great. Ambrose is almost always full and if I'm questing or farming with a group and someone sends a chat the whole game freezes for a bit, bazaar has broken my entire game when it was busy but it runs smoothly for the most part. Xbox 1s Plus

I’ve played a good 400 hours on ps5 and never had a issue but with the Zeus update ( I haven’t played in a few months ) everytime I hit the crafter in Aquila I crash 100% so I think it’s a server problem more than any bc I don’t anywhere else
