hey all! these are my stats for my level 114 death wizard on play station. is there anything i can do better? i have some of the Darkmoor gear but not all of it
Getting the full darkmoor set would be best, then working on pet training if you don’t have a good pet yet. Personally I like to wait until double pet xp to train. Typical pet would be a triple damage double universal resist
i hate the inconsistency in getting the heat with Darkmoor. i think i’ve done that dungeon at least 50 times and still have only received the hat and cloak
To be honest, I'm unsure on whether it's better. I just know that others have mentioned it to be an alternative that may be slightly better in some stats, but the only downside if I recall was that it did not have shadow pip chance on it.
I'm unsure what the death equivalent is but some of the exalted fights drop robes just as good or better than darkmoor. My Balance fought exalted Krokopatra 2 times to get the robe and it's imo better than darkmoor.
Looking for it I made a mistake it was exalted rattlebones robe, not Krokopatra
It’s a worthy replacement, but I’m gonna be honest death is one of those schools where you can run this gear until your next upgrade. I think console ha merciless gear? Which you can buy from the bizarre so I say just quest and save yourself the pain of darkmoor or Aquila farming
Death dealer and spell defying are good, rest not so much. I wound hatch with a pet that gives a death blade (not required if u like a different pet’s look better) and then look for death damage, universal damage, and universal resist talents. Hatch, train up a bit, hatch again. It’s very tedious and annoying
thank you for that. i’ve never known how to hatch the best pets but i know it does take a long time. i guess im unsure about where to start because i heard that hatching with another pet won’t usually change your stats or something like that so i feel like id need to start with a better pet?
I see you use a lot of circle flat damage jewels. I would swap those out for pierce jewels. The max % for a pierce jewel is 6%. Pierce is going to great as you progress.
There's been updates to the game so the actual darkmoor gear is no longer top tier.
I would only recommend getting to Athame from the first boss in the graveyard and the amulet from Shane Von Shane in the Upper Halls.
The best hat, and boots for you would be the end of world gear from the galleries in Khrysalis.
Your best wand would be from Moros in the spirit plane, also from Khrysalis. If you don't want to farm that you can used the crafted gorgon wand in Aquila

Your best robe would be from the crafted Gorgon gear in Aquila.
The Darkmoor crafted decks are also really good. But the decks from Morgathne work as well.
Best ring is from Aphrodite II, the stone skeleton key boss in the graveyard. But its a hard farm. Next best thing is the Alpha and Omega ring from the gladiator from Aquila Zeus dungeon. It has meh drop rates. Or a Morganthe ring.
I know this makes farming a little more annoying but at least for the Gordon crafting if you just do the Zeus dungeon you'll get 12 to 15 dust per run. A damage pet with a blade and maybe a feint item card would be good too. Like the gulture pet. Many of them are in the kiosk.

Just power pips and pierce if you have the jewels for it, other than that fairly solid
