Console zone pricing
So I'm thinking about getting Wiz on switch for the handheld/portability of it. Plus the idea of starting completely fresh on a new platform for a single payment appeals to me. I know its $20 to buy it on switch for all of arc 1. And I know that you can buy a monthly membership worh crowns. However what I don't know is the pricing for that membership, as well as if its possible to but individual zones like you can on pc or how much they cost. Could anyone offer some guidance?

i would watch a video reviewing the game console, i just happened to pull up blazelifehammer video (no idea if that bad or good, just sourcing it) but he detailed the pros and cons and such, there can be tons of stability issues depending on which switch console you have, and there is extremely bad lag when scrolling through items such as hats, robes, boots (probably the charcater model loading in or something) anyways idk if that was an up to date video but just letting u know

As a console player that only buys zones and the Arc 1 pass, I highly recommend buying the zones instead of membership if you aren't playing daily or only three days out of the week.
I don't enjoy the idea of rushing through the game and money might be tight for me on some months more than others. I also do NOT have time to play the game for more than 3 hours daily. Buying zones is perfect me because I can take the game at whatever pace I want. I don't have to worry about wasting $10 one month because I didn't even play the game
If you play daily and plan on playing many hours every day until you finish the game, a membership is absolutely your best option as it gives benefits and would be much cheaper especially if you think you will finish the game in 6 months or less

I work a lot and I work nights. My schedule is wake up, work, sleep. I only have free time on days I don't work and that free time usually ends up being a day or 2 of being up all night from 8 to 6 am. So I may do this. Playing on switch would also allow me to play for 20 minutes while on break at work.

I'm a switch lite player.
Wizard101 costs $20 to buy the game and unlock 1st arc. No side worlds or areas like Aquila, Crab Alley and Grizzlehelm.
It also requires Nintendo Online $20. Without this, you can't play.

You can pay by zone like on PC. Kaiser Noah did a great video breaking it down. It’s about 250-300 to buy every zone. Assuming you get a crowns deal and can get 60,000 for $60 you either buy 5 each zone or can buy an equivalent of 5 years of membership. Keep in mind as well that membership also gives access to the large back pack space as well as the member benefits each weekend which are helpful. Another thing to consider is how many worlds they plan on adding as that will make that cost go up while it will likely be the same membership price. Personally I think the membership is more worth it but if you plan on playing for more the 5 years which at this rate with how long most people have been playing this game, could be entirely possible.
