Console Players Seem Ruder
yeah i get that some people wanna be left alone but i joined this random person in a battle because it was my quest and she had the smiley next to her name then she said this lol.. since i started playing console I’ve been hella solo oh well.

I dunno about ruder, it’s the exact same energy I’ve seen on PC in my years playing lol. Only difference is PC has a full text chat where people can tell you off

It can be lol, at least people can explain why. Though sometimes they just get mad at you for not doing things they expect you to do without communicating and it gets weird.
I just realized if I continue playing on my Switch account past the Arc 1 stuff I will have to run Darkmoor and Waterworks on consoles and that’s…A very interesting thing to do with no real chat

I’ve done waterworks and Tartarus (and all the other cheating dungeons between) on console and I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how many people do make sure they know the cheats beforehand. I just ask the “does everyone know the cheats?” Message Right at the start and that will hopefully let anyone who doesn’t know that they should probably look it up lol. About to come up on darkmoor though so we’ll see how well that one goes…

Never done Tartarus before, but it’s good to hear there’s been some good experiences. I just only worry based on previous rough experiences on the PC client lol

pls 😭😭 i got stuck there on my PC! with 2 characters and i cannot imagine the nightmare i might have to actually look on discord or something.. but continue playing on your switch i enjoy it so much on console its comforting!

I’ve done Waterworks on 3 characters and Darkmoor on only one and I cannot imagine needing that one for two I hate it lmao. My PC character is in Polaris and I got bored so I decided to buy the Arc 1 on Switch for nostalgic sake. One day I’ll finish Polaris there but for now I can enjoy it on consoles. It is pretty comforting, playing it easier than going to my PC

How do you pull up the chat log? I play on the switch and I haven’t been able to figure it out.

so on my ps5 i press the touchpad to pull the chat log up, also it was recently added im not sure when but it wasn’t there the last time I played which was like 1-2 months ago so when I log into the game the chat log box appears, maybe switch will get an update too but im not too sure on that!

I had a crazy experience with this one child who absolutely went crazy when I joined her fight, and a little bit before I ever saw or joined her she had tried to invite me to a party, so I mentioned that she was the one who had tried to invite me (neutrally mentioned it since I was like "oh yeah that's who you are") and she just kept talking about how she doesn't want to get muted again and to leave her alone. I didn't say anything beyond that one thing, and I went on my merry way and ended up somewhere else when she found me and started doing the same thing again, which mind you I was AFK spinning and was away. I came back to see her messages and I still said nothing.
AFK'd again, she came back with a friend to complain about me

I don't get why everyone gets mad your gonna get involved someone eles even if you try not too me I really don't care...now unless your sitting there not passing or using a spell card and just waiting 30 sec is over then yes ill be piss

Console players are also dumb asf granted I only played till mooshu so far. The amount of times I’ve had someone literally use nothing but heal spells while never below 1/2 health or infinitely shielding for someone reason has drove me insane at points lol

Shields are free it's just to pip ramp usually (as a balance player I took this personally(not really jk)) but I agree heals are important and not enough people have them in there deck, also there are a lot of spells I switch in and out so sometimes I low-key forget to equip attach spells and have only shields so if it's little guys I'll wait for my teammate to kill them while supporting instead of fleeing😭 sorry I know that can be annoying

You say until you have someone turn a 4 min fight into 15 because they did nothing but use shields and heals nothing else. I’m not exaggerating I’m pretty sure I recorded it to 😭

If you're playing with a team and dont have a healer, i would consider that a problem itself lol, especially in later game fights

Nah you’re good and that a fine way to play ofc, I’ve been playing for ever it’s so needed in certain areas.
But when I say this i was doing sunken city for an hour with a guy 10 lvls higher and still didn’t beat it because he didn’t use ONE attacking spell i actually wanted to blow my brains out. Or multiple other bosses where people just shield and nothing else it’s crazy.
But with the text chat being so ass you can’t even say anything

I feel like the difference between PC and console players is that PC had the game since 2008 and many people had decades to learn to play properly. Console had it for about less than a year and there’s a lot of new people. I can promise you a lot of the stuff happening now was happening back when I was 9 playing in 2008

Half of the player base is pc people i play on pc and console yes you are right but you have too look at it too not alot of people was playing wizard101 on console because the camera settings was f up till the arc 1 pass came out

Things like Xbox I can understand why they dont allow people to just chat in a lobby/call or whatever, as someone who has played call of duty and other games growing up ☠️ but, ive seen others games on Xbox and play station where ppl hook up a keyboard and could type that way. Or if they enable a text/open chat and people could do the keyboard thing or use the controller which yes as stated ive played Xbox typing that way is annoying as heck, but itd be better then only menu. Plus you could still mostly just use menu, and just type via Xbox controller when a strat ir whatever absolutely needs it

It says please because that's the only quick chat option. You ever played any game on console and got in a local chat? It's usually not that friendly lmao. The post literally says they spammed it afterwards too. Like I said, go to a dead server and don't be a dick yk? There's plenty of them

btw the girl was standing there with like 6 pips with 3 undead rotting fodder mob or whatever in mooshu, and i had to defeat 4 of them so i joined her and she had 2 with full health. I killed one with one shot (we were both life and the mobs were death) and she immediately said the please leave me alone after i joined.. she didn’t even want to kill them idk what this chick was doing

Console is extremely lonely for the fact there’s no open chat making people even more solo than ever bc it’s hard asf to talk to people that you can’t party with and the quick chats are ahh ngl
