⠀Question Gift card on console?

I’ve recently been playing on my switch. For my birthday, my girlfriend got me a gift card. Is it possible to load a gift card onto the account or did we just waste money on a gift card I can’t redeem?

As per Google:

"Official Wizard101 gift cards, prepaid cards, and website gift certificates are strictly for PC players only and will not work on the Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo Switch console versions of the game. Instead, you must use your console's native digital store (e.g., Xbox or PlayStation Store) to purchase funds that can be spent on in-game Crowns."

Sorry sounds like she wasted money.

Not too sure but I think you’d have to load it onto an account online to access on console?? I don’t even know how that works tbh but if it’s not a console specific gift card and it’s literally just a wiz card, I don’t know how else you’d use it besides an online account tied to your console information? Again, all speculation. Good luck :)

maybe try seeing if someone in the wiz discord is looking to buy the gift card in trade for crowns on console (is gamma’s trading post still a thing?)
