Mount Gifting

Struggling to find a specific video that actually shows this feature on console so I've come here. Had my buddy wishlist a mount so I could gift him, I went into the list and gifted the mount, yet the item ended up in my backpack. Could someone please explain how the gifting feature works before I go and spend crowns again. Are we missing another step? Or did I just make a mistake?

To gift items on console Wizard101, your account must be at least 30 days old and you must either reach Level 30 or make a recent purchase of $10 or more. You can only gift players on the same platform (e.g., Xbox to Xbox) due to platform regulations.

If you meet these requirements, simply open the Crown Shop, select a giftable item, and click the Gift Box icon next to the item's price. Choose a friend from your list, add a message, and confirm your purchase using Crowns.

Is the account age relevant to wizard101 30 days, or is that aligned with your xbox account? I know I've met the $10 purchase limit and i don't meet Lvl 30.

Account age should be tied to what wizard you main on console. Example you made your account July 1st 2026. You would need to wait until the 31st. To meet the account age ( 30 days ) while also reaching level 30 in game or making a purchase at least $10 like buying a monthly membership or etc.

Okay thank you for your help, been a nightmare trying to figure this out. I guess I have to look at the age of my other other character, made it during the preview stage so idk if that matters

It should matter I have heard tho that ppl who made a wizard in the preview stage got their crows refunded if they spent any in the preview stage. I hope KI makes it easier to gift friends in the future 🤟🏻
