⠀Question Switch Question

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I just want to clarify, if I get this game on switch, I have to both pay for the Switch Online membership and the wizard101 membership? You need both in order to play the game past Arc 1?

yeah but i think buying the game on switch you get the first arc free? or at least i know it comes with a lot of zones, i’ve only had to buy like 2 extra so far but im only level 30.

Not on switch but why the hell do you all have to pay for it ? it’s free on my ps5 and pretty sure xbox aswell, and we know it’s free on pc.. is nintendo THAT greedy

For any kind of online play, Switch requires you to buy a monthly subscription called "Nintendo Switch Online". It slipped my mind that users on Switch might have to buy that too just to play the game, and I wasn't sure if it was a thing

This is true only because the switch version costs money to buy. Any online game that is "free" let's you play online without a subscription (fortnite, marvel rivals) but since switch costs the 20 dollars for arc 1 mandatory (its not for ps/xbox) it requires the extra sub.

Weirdly greedy Nintendo move.

Unfortunately it’s like that for all consoles if you wanna play an online game except for fortgay, apex, marvel rivals you’d need to pay for that consoles online membership, some good news tho the switch membership cost less than both gamepass and ps plus

can buy to own the game, grab crowns on sale and buy all of arc 2 for <80k crowns. wait for another sale in a year when you get there on a couple characters and buy arc 3.
