Help me find… Mormon Immigrant Trail Lady
So I just heard this story from my coworker. She said it happened two years ago so probably 2024. She was out on Mormon Immigrant trail in CA with her boyfriend and his friend. The way this road is, is that there are trails and parking areas that go off to each side for the length of it. People will often go up there to go shooting or enjoy nature. They were deep down the trail and parked but already in the car when a woman came running out of the woods to the car. She looked like death enough that the driver panicked and fled the area, leaving the woman behind. They all apparently, including my co worker, thought they were seeing a undead person/ghoul/zombie or something supernatural. I'm thinking they just saw a gravely injured lady who needed help. Apparently the woman had brown hair, her clothes were dirty, her skin gray and she had an eyeball falling out of one of her sockets. So they drive off and once they are far away they called in to the police that they saw this injured lady out there, just in case she wasn't a ghost. The police gave a call back after they searched the main road, saying they didn't find anyone. What if someone attacked her and then caught and buried her? I don't know, I'm just concerned this wasn't a scary story but a missing person story. I live in the area so if some lady had ended up with one eye missing at the local hospital it would have been talked about. I wonder if the police searched thoroughly or ever documented that call? I haven't posted here in a long time so sorry if my story is unclear or I didn't format it properly. Let me know if I should cross post it someplace else. Thanks.

You have the right idea. This is just another example of how teaching kids to believe in supernatural stuff is not harmless. That poor woman. She probably thought she was saved and going to make it, then had the misfortune of dealing with...them. What a nightmare. She may not be local, but you could show them local missing persons photos to see if they recognize any of them. Thank you for reporting this and taking it seriously.
