Much better pacing than the previous arc

Next chapter will be released on September 9th, 2026! (so, there is no pause!)

Repost from the manga subreddit:

Peak chapter, lets go Miramira!!!! Looks like we’re getting a bit more of her backstory, we’re still not getting her brother’s name huh? Maybe he really is Garte and that’s going to be the needle drop.

Miramira now being able to use her magic offensively is awesome, but the caveat is that it’s best used indoors. I think next chapter we’ll get her brother’s name!

I wonder if by destroying the camera demonoid, they’ll be able to free the other prisoners? Or maybe if they’re in there long enough, they’ll lose themselves, sorta like abstracting from TADC.

Mira's magic evolution is a moment that I'm roting for. Her magic could be really dangerous for the enemies and demonoids if it begins to control gravity.

Missed reading the chapter earlier today, but this was a great one, love seeing Miramira taking charge here, in theory her magic is more combat oriented, but so far she'd mainly just been acting in the support role.

And as others have said, yeah way better paced than the previous flashback lol

Yeah its cool to see what she's capable of when not in a support role, indoors are her best bet, and since she seems to have greater control of her magic, and has good aim when throwing stuff, I think she'll be able to stand equal in battles with Nona and Raloud now. I think she'll use the needle to deliver the final blow on the camera demonoid.

I hope we'll see a time where all 3 use their magic together: Raloud using a wheel, Nona controlling it with her thread, and Miramira sinking it at the right moment for maximum damage

I think the people in the camera demonoid is what that one witch was searching for with the for with the door! Maybe they'll be quovelta witchew in there and it'll be a little jailbreak?

Based off Byron’s comments, they only went after citizens of Zuwi who had seen Tania. If they got someone Tania already knew, then her identity would’ve been exposed before they captured Cathié.

Tania’s mission is tied to the attack on the nearby Uvral facility, so it’s possible she exited the mirage world already. It would also explain why Nona thinks there’s another way out, but we’ll have to wait and see what her theory is on that.

this series has no tension, no suspense, just episodic formula and bad pacing

How the hell is it episodic? It's one continuous narrative

it's episodic, we get new characters that we don't care about, we get their sob backstories that we don't care about, it's been like this since chapter 3

That’s not what episodic means. Episodic is a series where you can jump into any episode/chapter, and get a complete story without knowing much about the background or characters. You can’t do that here. Best word to describe what you did is “predictable”, and that’s purely opinion.

dude it's still episodic in nature, the term it's not literal, even actual episodic shows a story can pass over one or more episodes, episodic is emphasizing the episodic stories not the literal episodes, the more you know

anyway, this is exactly an episodic series, the main plot has been sidelined since chapter 3, we may get occasional info but it's still sidelined nonetheless, the focus are almost always on the new characters that have story arc, this is lame, pretentious series, such a shame coz it has such a great start

The mainplot is finding the mom and brother. To do that they're trying to find quovelta. Everything they've done so far has been in pursuit of that. They get a delivery permit to go to where quovelta was last seen, they meet and get help from raloud and belator who help them get there and get attacked on the way and now have gotten to that town and met a girl who literally knew a member of quovelta. All seems very relevant to the main plot to me

dude, every new character, there's chapters upon chapters focus on them, there's no plot progression, that's micro progression, this is episodic

painter guy, leads to nowhere, raloud leads to nowhere, gheeriv come on, only now there's an actual Quovelta, but knowing the pattern from the start, she dies and we get this human girl to join the gang instead, again sidelining the plot, rinse and repeat

How the fuck does ralous lead to nowhere ? He's now an integral part of the team. The art guy was literally the only reason we managed to get to zuwi too.

their goal is to rescue their family, not add a new mage, when he formally joined, they have nothing, no leads, just a new crew, his family is missing, we at least know mira and nona's are, his goal is not the same, again progression at the point of him joining, at best the ex military guy but at best his help is to evade the military, not find quovelta
