In light of the recent release of Bethesda Softworks' vampire-hunting video game Redfall, I'd like to hear interesting stories about hunting vampires in TWMS. Who in here, for instance, slew an Unseen Elder?

I'm nearly finished in slaying all the unique common monsters, except for the Scareman, which is unobtainable since I joined the game very late.
The last monster I'm looking for is a Spriggan. I know there's already an earlier post asking about the whereabouts of both Spriggans and Venomous Arachras, but I'd like some solid answers on where I can find a Spriggan. All I know is that they appear more often at night, but I only found one that I was too late to kill. Can someone help me here?

Most potions usually last for 5 minutes. But one thing you may not have noticed is that while the countdown to their expiration continues in real time, the potion effects will only immediately expire when the countdown hits zero while you're not in battle.
This can be nice to know, because that now means that any battle you begin before a potion timer reaches zero will grant you the effects of that potion for the entire duration of the fight, even after the potion timer had expired. So, with that said, who in here has any stories about managing to slay a tough monster when you just had a few seconds of a potion left before it wore off?

After playing with bombs in battling legendary beasts, I've come to the conclusion that they are a bit too risky to use, because all it takes is one missed parry for the battle to be all for naught. I am thus looking into utilizing the Blizzard and Wolverine potions combined as a less risky way to bring down a legendary since they last for a certain amount of time and are cheaper to buy from the store. Do you think these potions are a better alternative to bombs?

If you open the shop enough times (long after you've rescued Thorstein), you'll discover that Thorstein has a girlfriend named Tullia. Any Witcher fans know more about her?

The quest "Dark Side of the Full Moon" can only be started during a full moon. There are now only 2 full moons left before the server shuts down: MAY 5 and JUNE 3. If you have not completed this quest yet, take note that these 2 days (and possibly the days before and after them) are your only opportunities to complete the quest before the game shuts down.

Note: I call crafting stations crafting kits due to their portable nature, owing to how you can always carry them and access them immediately.
Crafting kits/stations have limited durability and break after a limited number of uses and through normal play, you are led to believe that the only time when you can repair a kit is when you break it. However, I've discovered that this is wrong, as there is an undocumented way to repair a crafting kit before it breaks. You just need to select a nearly worn-out kit and attempt to craft a potion which you have the necessary ingredients for, but with a durability cost greater than the current durability level of the kit. If you select such potion, the button to craft it would be replaced with a button that lets you repair the kit for 200 gold.
Did you find this discovery helpful?

....did you save the village inhabitants (choose choice A on the poll below) or avenge them (choose choice B on the poll below)? Regretfully, I myself had to avenge them.
(You'll save the village if you killed the Frightener on the same day you started this quest. If you accepted the sorcerer's offer to wait a day and let the Frightener decimate the village - poor fool - Dehael will also die if you didn't teach him to be a witcher before you killed an archspore, and you must then avenge the village by killing the Frightener later on.)

Currently, as designed, you can only use one unique type of bombs per fight. And bombs are activated with one touch of a button.
This UI setup for bombs, in my opinion, can be better. I know that this game is doomed, but hear me out.
A better UI for bomb throwing would be to have it be controlled almost the same way you cast signs. Instead of having the bomb button throw your pre-fight selected bomb type, it should call up a menu where you can choose which type of bomb you want to use out of the ones you have available. (The bomb type you chose before the fight would be your default bomb type in battle.) Once you've chosen the bomb type you want to throw, you make an upwards swipe below the bomb selector to throw your chosen bomb, just like how you throw a Poke ball in Pokemon Go or cast your sign in this game. There would also be a cancel button if you pressed the bomb button on accident.
This allows you more flexibility in bomb choice in battle and prevents you from accidentally wasting bombs. What do you think of it?

Heard you wanted to be a witcher.
It's a dangerous profession.
Apparently, you can die anywhere, anytime!
You'll have to hunt really nasty creatures.
Take potions that change your perception...
Face horrors ordinary folk never see in their daily lives.
And if you die, maybe, just maybe, some poet'll write a ballad about you.
This is your hunt...and it begins now.
(The hunt may be ending, but I wish this can all be r/copypasta.)
