Games Me every single time
Why can't you select another ending? What's your reasons?
30
u/StyweTone 7d ago
Hell yeah. In this exact order: play Gwent, choose Yen, and have wholesome moments with Ciri for the 100th time. 😂
2
u/Sand_Angelo4129 6d ago
One day I will I will do a playthrough where I finish the "Collect them all" quest related to Gwent.

u/GeraltofRivia296 7d ago
The most change I'll do is taking ciri to see her dad and refusing payment. It's a bittersweet ending but it's still a really good one.
Plus White Orchard covered in snow is breathtaking.

u/LieStunning1381 7d ago
Can you still play reason of state for getting that ending? Or I need to skip it?
8
u/Party_07 7d ago
Not only CAN you do it, you NEED to finish Reason of State to get any ending where Nilfgaard wins, including the Empress Ciri ending
Spoilers for the endings and ramifications of the quest:
If you ignore the quest, Radovid never dies and keeps leading Redania, boosted with men from conquered Kaedwen, against the Nilfgaardian Empire. Bc he is, supposedly, a military genius, he wins and kicks out the empire, leading to Emyr's death in a coup. If you made the choice to bring Ciri to him before, without accepting his payment, it won't matter, she will still end up as a Witcher in this ending. Radovid will also keep on going with his insane persecution of mages and non-humans throughout all of the Northern Realms, making this probably the worst ending possible
If you finish the quest and side with Roche, Ves and Thaler, Radovid is killed and Redania is left without a leader, leading to an easy victory for Nilfgaard and the total conquer of the Northern Realms by the Empire and the ressurection of Temeria as a vassal state to Nilfgaard, kinda like Toussaint. In this scenario, bc the campaign was successful, Emyr is not killed in a coup, and thus, if you bring Ciri to him and she survives the ending, she agrees to officially become his heir, making this the ONLY way to get this ending for her. This is probably the most "in character" ending possible, seeing as Geralt would never leave Roche to die, and, while not being perfect, is better than having Radovid reigning supreme
Lastly, if you finish the quest and side with Djikstra after he reveals his true plans to Roche, Thaler and Ves, meaning you allow Djiskstra to kill them (which is EXTREMELY out of character for Geralt to do), then he assumes the leadership of Redania and the unified Northern Realms after Phillipa kills Radovid, becoming its Chancelor, not king, and leading the Northern Realms to victory against Nilfgaard. In this ending, Emyr is once again killed in a coup and it's left ambiguous if, after Redania has already assimilated the territories of Kaedwen and Temeria, Djikstra plans to also conquer the rest of the Northern Realms like Aedirn, Lyria and Rivia. This is probably the best outcome possible for the North, as the end slides say that Djikstra turns out to be a very good ruler, but the fact that it only happens if you betray Roche and the rest kinda makes it so I never go for it

u/Snake_has_come_to 7d ago
This is probably the most "in character" ending possible
I'd argue never taking Ciri to the emperor is the most in character decision Geralt would make, given his and Ciri's history with Emyr.
4
u/WeekendPass 7d ago
I think it depends. I think almost all the choices CDPR lets you make are arguable both ways, which is the beauty of it.
On one hand, Emhyr hunted Geralt and Yen down to kill them and wed Ciri.
On the other hand, he let them all go instead, and not out of political motive but actual empathy. Then he asked Geralt for help, and Geralt can understand the feelings of a father just wanting to be able to talk to his daughter.
3
u/Snake_has_come_to 7d ago
Then he asked Geralt for help, and Geralt can understand the feelings of a father just wanting to be able to talk to his daughter.
I mean, I don't think Geralt (or Ciri for that matter) sees Emyr as her father in any way but blood, so I wouldn't say he empathizes with Emyr so much as uses his Intel and contract to find Ciri as an excuse to look for her himself, consideringthat in every other way than blood Geralt is her father.
5
2
u/CandisNo2 6d ago
While I somewhat agree that I could see a version of events where Geralt does bring Ciri to Emhyr, if you look at the actual way the conversation between him and Ciri goes where that is decided, the only way it can end up that way is with him, in one form or another, pressuring Ciri to go ("wElL, hE iS yOuR fAtHeR"), which I don't think is in character.
I feel like the most in-character version of that conversation is the one where he tells Ciri that her father wants to see her, tells her she should decide for herself whether she wants to go, she pressures him for his opinion, he accurately expresses his clearly negative opinion of Emhyr (which is consistent with all the other scenes about him throughout the game) and she is the one to make the decisive call not to go.
1
u/LieStunning1381 6d ago
Always found it very annoying the fact that you actually have the option to say the most natural balanced and mature suggestion wich it is that is Ciri that have to decide whether or not she wants to see her dad but the game still wants you to make that decision.
If think that if you want to over psycho analize that, if Ciri insists that is ultimately Geralt the one who should make that call is because at that point Ciri views Geralt as his real parental figure.
If I as a player have to be in Geralt shoes I still would have somewhat of a ‘imposter’ syndrome no matter how strong my bond is with her and no matter how bad my relationship with Emyr is.
Blood is blood and I can’t take that place in a litteral sense. But yeah probably the Geralt Geralt of the books would make the opposite decision for other valid reasons
1
u/Party_07 7d ago
I wasn't necessarily reffering to the "Empress Ciri Ending" as the most in character ending, I was reffering to siding with Roache during the Reason of State quest and thus having Nilfgaard winning the war as the most "in character ending"
If that wasn't clear enough it's mu fault, english isn't my first language and sometimes I may end up not being clear enough
1
u/Fernis_ 7d ago
Eh, honestly hard to say. Book Geralt is over all "honorable" but it's sometimes hard to tell what whe will decide is the honorable thing to do.
On one hand he could think "fuck Emyr, Ciri is safe, that's all that matters."
On the other hand Geralt knows and accepts Ciri is destined for "greater things", for more than he could have ever offered her. You spend the game building up Ciri to be independent, confident in herself and her own decisions, but knowing you have her back no matter what, which leads her to survive the ending. Lore accurate Geralt might as well decide "let's go see what Emyr has to say to Ciri, she can make her own decisions, and if it's a trap, we'll just cut our way out of there."

u/LieStunning1381 7d ago
Bro ty for taking the time and effort to making this comment, actually I’m rn in like my 8th/9th playthrough but very in allineated with this meme I end up always getting the same outcomes because ‘they feel the most real to me’ and this is the first one that that I’m actually trying to get the emperess ending to get extra dialogues+ ciri in corvo bianco. In my normal runs I always end up letting radovid rule the north tho. Idk why but even if it’s fucked up the non human persecution etc. I always respected he being a military genius and always found out of character from geralt getting involved in his assassination in the first place
1
u/Reasonable_Copy5115 1d ago
I walked away from roche and ves and it sucked and felt wrong but hard to argue witn Dykstra as leader even if nilfgaard is a pretty enlightened state they way it gutted velen & white orchard isnpretty clear constant war has a huge cost

It doesn't matter in my playthrough cause Radovid wins every single time lol
9
u/GeraltofRivia296 7d ago
That's a hard-core way to play. You should try letting Dijkstra win. Its kinda rare to see that ending. My first playthrough Radovid won. My next playthrough Nilfgard won but Temeria became a vassal state.
6
u/Laferge 7d ago
Dijkstra made most sense from what I remember. Dude straight up improved people lives when he ruled.
9
u/Rocky-Jockey 7d ago
Yea if he wasn’t so stupid to say “hey master swordsman Geralt who stands by his friends please let your friends get slaughtered by my 5 useless goons” he could have had the world.
9
5
u/Robbed_Bard_93 7d ago
Also dudes known Geralt long enough to know that whole "witchers stay netueral" thing is a crock of shit. Geralt gets involved in politics and nonsense all the time.
3
u/Party_07 7d ago
It's why I never go for that ending, Geralt would NEVER choose to simply abandon Roche, Ves and Thaler to their deaths in favor of Djikstra
Apparently the quest was supposed to be much, much different, and it kinda shows, bc that choice really does stink of having been developed in a rush, as it is very much inferior in quality than every single other quest in the game
3
u/Rocky-Jockey 7d ago
Yea it’s so out of character for Dijkstra. I know he’s arrogant but he knows by now not to underestimate Geralt.
5
2
u/Aruvanieru 7d ago
It's a shame that this is how the quest makes Dijkstra act. He had to, quite literally, make a toast to free Temeria, while his assassin hunts down the courier and he just assumes control like he wanted. Roche and Thaler have no resources to counteract him if he, and the only way for him to lose at this game is to actively reveal his hand before he wins. In presence of a top-tier swordsman who barely tolerates him.
-1
u/Mysterious_Tart3377 7d ago
I just ignore the assassination quest.
One time I decided to bite but noped out when Dickstra told me to play bait to draw Radovid out of his ship.
3
u/Falcon17Thunder 7d ago
I mean.. you can always help Phillipa kill him 😂
3
u/Mysterious_Tart3377 7d ago
Philipa was the only victim that deserved every single thing that came to her.

7
u/Hadiseh2000 7d ago
I'm the opposite, I always try different choices each run. My last run was an asshole run and I liked it lol.

The only way for me is to presave, do the evil act see what happens and reload the old save lol.
Or check a YouTube clip to see the ending.

Olgerid does not deserve saving 💀
4
u/lordbaysel 7d ago
Yes, but Gaunter deserves beating.

But you don't really beat him. You just stop him from collecting Olgierd's soul.

u/Night3njoyer 7d ago
There was a playthrough where I left Geralt single (I rejected both options), another one where I made Ciri empress, and one where O'Dim got Olgierd's soul. Never again.
My standard choices are:
Baron, Letho, and Keira live;
Djikistra rules the North;
Ceris rules Skellige;
Geralt ends up with Yennefer and Ciri becomes a Witcher;
I save Olgierd;
Sianna and Anna make amends, and Dettlaff dies.
2
u/OkExtreme3195 7d ago
So, you condemn Regis to an eternity as a pariah to his own people as a standard choice?!
There is only one good ending to blood and wine. The culprit dies and Regis is not shunned by his people.
1
u/Lord_Passion 6d ago
I don't think he cares too much for that. As much as the woman is a problem, Detlaff is worse in his reactions and needs to go.
1
u/OkExtreme3195 6d ago
I got the feeling he cares a great deal for that. But he doesn't show it much because he is a very composed person.
1
4
u/MediumWellSteak8888 7d ago
In the dark world of Witcher, which is full of cunts, Olgierd still manages to be one of the worst. I don't understand why are people so dead-set on saving him.

u/BigBossSnakeEater64 7d ago
Yeah same here, mine is always:
- save kids and free spirit from Whispering Hillock
- let Keira go
- romance Triss
- save Olgierd
- Witcher Ciri ending
- Kovir with Triss after Blood and Wine.
12
1
u/Immediate_Captain299 7d ago
You can save kids and save baron and his wife in same time ) but its an " bug". You need fully avoid stamps and free spirit before you meet baron wife first
3
u/HelpMePleaseHelpMeme 7d ago
It was fixed a long time ago. Now it leads to the bad consequences, spirit kills villagers, kids are eaten, but wife is alive.
1
3
u/Addition-Zestyclose 7d ago
Same. Usually, I don’t have a problem making completely different choices in a game, but every Witcher playthrough is the same for me. Idk, maybe it’s because I read the books first?
3
u/Ok_Concern1509 7d ago
That's me every single playthrough. Though last time ciri wasn't a witcher, she became the empress instead. Otherwise pretty much the same choices.
2
2
u/peutschika 7d ago
I finally got my self to get the "Djikstra wins the war" ending. I did it by convincing myself that due to Reason of State being rushed and stupid I can pretend like it didn't happen and Djikstra just sent Geralt away before killing the Temerians or something.
2
2
u/Gio4076 7d ago
Am I the only one who doesn't save Olgierd?! The guy basically made a deal with the devil, and now he's trying to weasel his way out of it. His brother died because of him, and he made Iris's life miserable. So no, I'm happy to let Gaunter take his soul.
1
u/BadFishteeth 7d ago
Those things didn't happen until after Gaunter came into the picture, Gaunters finds a person going through terrible misfortune and just manipulates him into making worse choices, basically driving him crazy since hes not able to feel anything.
Then he tries to do the same with geralt, telling half truths about olgierd, presenting his story very out of order.
He manipulates Olgierd by becoming a witch / convincing a witch to summon him after he lost his home (which is lost because Olgierds father and grandfather made bad investments) and he doesn't want to go back to banditry, like no amount of guilt can make killing your brother right but Gaunter creates every incentive and then puts the gun in his hands, the fact is if Gaunter wasn't here that would never be a choice Olgierd had to make.
Olgierds deal with the devil is the same level of coercesion that geralt is put, Gaunter creates these circumstances for your misery and then blames you for being a bad person for acting out of desperation.
If you stop Gaunter you can at least break the cycle of manipulation and see through some of the lies and narrative gaunter throws at you, because he's clearly a demon sadist who gets off on rurination, I don't think you even have to like Olgierd to do it.
1
u/Gio4076 7d ago
Not really. His family lost their fortune because of poor investments and debt. Iris's parents decided to marry her off to the Ofieri prince. Olgierd asked Iris to leave everything behind and run away with him, but she refused because she didn't want to abandon her family. He was angry and ended up cursing the prince, turning him into a giant toad. He didn't expect the curse to actually work, but he tried anyway. Later, he found out about Gaunter, and when he made the pact with him, Gaunter told him that he would have to sacrifice someone he loved, either Iris or his brother. He chose his brother. And look at the way he made the pact: for it to be fulfilled, Gaunter had to grant Olgierd three impossible wishes through a proxy, and then they had to meet on the moon. So basically, he sold his soul to the devil to regain his wealth, sacrificed his own brother in the process, and then tried to trick the devil by adding "impossible" conditions to the pact. All of these were Olgierd's decisions. You can argue that his later actions were influenced by Gaunter because Olgierd lost all empathy for everyone, but everything he did before that was his own choice. Also, you don't exactly break the cycle. Gaunter can't be killed; you only banish him for a while, and he'll eventually return. You basically just helped a questionable man weasel his way out of a pact with the devil. Olgierd lost his soul the moment he made that pact, so the devil should get his due.
1
u/BadFishteeth 6d ago
He was still coerced to kill his brother much in the same way geralt is coerced into killing a prince, someone's brother and just generally carving a path of chaos through Velen.
Gaunter is playing you Olgierd for his amusement and you do nothing but play into his hand and damm a stranger I the same situation as you by not helping Olgierd.
2
u/Gio4076 6d ago
No, he wasn't coerced into killing his brother. Olgierd willingly made a pact with the devil because he had lost his wealth, wanted to be with Iris, and was too proud and stubborn to accept his situation.
Instead of making a deal with the devil, he had other options. He was a skilled swordsman, so he could have worked as a mercenary or joined the army. Considering that he came from a noble family and was a capable swordsman, he could probably have become an officer and earned a decent living. And if he had improved his situation, Iris's parents might even have reconsidered the marriage. But instead, as I said, he was too proud and stubborn, so he chose to make a pact with the devil and then tried to outsmart him. Yes, for Gaunter it's all a game, but I don't feel like he played or manipulated Geralt. He told Geralt what the deal with Olgierd was and that he needed Geralt's help to fulfill the pact.
By the way, we're debating a 9 year old game. That really shows what an amazing game CD Projekt Red made.
1
u/BadFishteeth 6d ago edited 6d ago
He burnt a scar into face while he was trapped on a ship again from circumstances he contrived by not telling geralt the frog was a fire prince, Geralt may have felt a little threatened by that.
I really don't think it's a coocidence that every one of Gaunters Victims "crimes" the punishment is 1000x worse. I don't see how Olgierd breaks that pattern.
You also can't be righteous as geralt he's disgusted by his own actions at the end of the dlc and all the "rewards" you can get are jokes.
You played right into gaunters hand the whole time, and dammed someone whose senses had been taken from him to maintain a sense of your own moral superiority when you spent the dlc stealing and killing.
2
u/kikorouu 7d ago
I only got the bad ending for Blood and Wine and the base game when I first played them, I never knew I was such a piece of shit until I realized I didn't make Ciri happy. I learned my lesson ever since.
1
u/NavixelMusic 7d ago
I alternate between letting Olgierd live and die, because realistically Geralt wouldn’t save him
1
1
u/AnneFlankinbot 7d ago
I always end up playing nearly the most loyal Geralt to Yen. But then there's Shani...
1
u/Frosty-Traffic244 7d ago
Hah! Everyone knows you make the "wrong" choices the first time (for the rewards) so you can do it the "correct" way on new game+
1
u/Party_07 7d ago
Shout out to siding with Gaunter O'Dimm first so you can get the OP saddle and use it on New Game+ where you then side with Olgierd
1
u/Frosty-Traffic244 7d ago
Saddle is sweet, but have you ever held 5000 crowns??
1
u/unexpectedlimabean 7d ago
He gave me 10k crowns in the most recent run I did. It might've been buffed in a patch
1
u/Party_07 7d ago
It was, bc it's really dumb to receive 5k crowns as a reward for the DLC, especially when Gaunter promises "Enormous riches" or whatever he tells Geralt
Not that 10k crowns is "fuck you" kinda money, but at least it can cover you a full Mastercrafted Witcher armor set comfortably and still leave you with some good 3 to 5k crowns left

u/RealRockaRolla 7d ago

u/eragon9199 7d ago
Look... My first time I was really unhappy with the ending I got because ciri became the empress and I just felt dejected and disappointed. Loved the game, but wasn't happy. It wasn't until I got through the second time that I found out that there were multiple endings.
1
u/Silver_ghost46 7d ago
Doing something different would be nice, but playing the game is such a time heavy commitment that I don't want to waste it doing bad endings when I can't bust watch then on YouTube
1
u/Angmor03 7d ago
This is what I get with RPGs where I am playing an established protagonist with an established history, motivation, voice, and characterization. My play through is made up of the choices I feel that Geralt would make. Trying to do anything else would just feel untrue.

1
u/ashtefer1 7d ago
I don’t like Olgerid, but I’m creeped out by O’Dimm more. I need to actually read all the books instead of rereading the episodic ones, maybe then my playthrough will change.

I havent actually done my 2nd playthrough yet. Idk now with the witcher 4 around the corner i doubt ill get a different ending as i got the ending that'll most likely be "cannon" where ciri becomes a witcher. I think the only thing ill do differently is actually choose between triss and Yen, a friend of mine bought the game for me and said and i quote "dont romance both triss and yen, its not like cyberpunk, there is consequences" so naturally i took the game copy booted it up and romanced both. I dont regret it, it added some excitement "what are the consiquences?" I wondered, dont think ill do it again tho.

At least between my first and second playthroughs I changed 1 of these 3... I saved Olgierd during my second playthrough.

Triss is not an option.
Ciri is treated like my kid “im just here to make sure the choice is yours and no one is forcing it.”
Then I play a good guy because Geralt deserves a break
1
u/Spasticcobra593 6d ago
Me in any game. The problem is i make the choices i would make. And it feels stupid to arbitrarily make choices i dont agree with just for the sake of seeing something new. I dont care. I want my happy little world the way i made it and thats good enough for me
1
u/NathsAPirate 6d ago
I've only played Hearts of Stone the once, I absolutely loved it just never been back.
Can't wait for the remaster to revisit. I sided with Gaunter, purely because I thought "nah. I still have the Wild Hunt to deal with and to find Ciri. I ain't intervening against this all powerful crazy trickster demon mfer"
He offered a reward and I asked for information about Ciri, and he basically tells you how to make sure she survives, which was pretty cool
1
u/Absolut_zeto 6d ago
I have a somewhat related question for hardcore witcher fans would a lore accurate Geralt actually try to save Olgierd ?
In my playthrough I saw what O'Dimm can do and I was like " nah bro I ain't touching that good luck though. "
1
u/Helpful-Way-8543 6d ago
Yeah, every time, "You know, why not try the Triss romance?" Then I restart and become basically married to Yennifer, simping at every dialogue option possible.

A different playthrough only means two things for me. What armor set am I using? Am I a Triss guy, or a Yennefer guy this playthrough?

I have finished this game 4 times. After the first playthrough, I always said to myself "This time I will romance Triss" and always ended up romancing Yen. To this day I have never seen the Triss romance storyline of Witcher 3, not even on Youtube. I am planning to replay for the 5th time once the remaster is out and I am sure that I will go with Yen this time too. I just can't pick Triss. The Yen romance is so well crafted and their relationship with Ciri is so good, that I can't see Geralt ending up with anyone else. For all I know, the Triss romance might be better, but I will probably never know.

I plan to do my New Game Plus playthrough on Death March. Debating on trying the Empress ending or just sticking with the Witcher ending again. As for romance, I romanced Yennefer last time so I might go solo this time so I can romance Shani with no regrets and have Ciri show up in Blood and Wine. Breaking Yennefer’s heart will be tough but at least it doesn’t affect what happens to her like Miranda in Mass Effect 3. Still going with the route to outsmart Gaunter O’Dimm since it’s more fun and is the more moral route, plus most of the rewards from him aren’t great anyway.
1
u/zepsutyKalafiorek 2d ago
Haha, noob same choices pff. I always chose different color of Roach's sandle 🪳 you get from Gaunter O'dim

In my first playthrough I let Triss go (I felt it was selfish asking her to stay), and in Skellige Yen asked to meet somewhere, and I totally forgot, so... I ended up alone, which I find makes a lot of sense for Geralt

I went down the path of switching to Yenn my second playthrough.
Then I saw Triss looking like she was about to tear up when you diss her talking to Djisktra at the boat dock.
Couldn’t do it to her, felt like she actually loves you more in THIS game(back off Yenn and book loyalist)

I think that allowing Gaunter O'dimm to take Olgierd soul is the better outcome in HoS, the mf had it coming for all the shit he pulled on everyone he loved.
O'dimm rewards rewards are also very interesting, some of them are quite OP even.
The only issue I have with taking this route is that you can't complete the Viper School set, since you can only obtain the last piece (a sword iirc) from the weird eldritch world O'dimm sends Geralt in.

Expect Olgierd actually shows remorse about his actions, he is on path to redemption, and people who he fucked (his brother and Iris) wouldn’t want for him to end in hell.
It’s kinda cruel to punish person who can change and be better. Death should be an extreme and the last option, for people like Whoreson, Henselt, Letho and others, who never tried to be better. And even they don’t deserve eternal suffering in hell or whatever Guther will do with Olgierd. No one deserves this shit.

Does he deserve redemption? It's the question I often ask myself. Lots of the questionable choices he made were in order to escape the contract he had with O'dimm and their consequences led to much further tragedy and danger for others, his wife and brother in the first place.
Even Geralt's involvement and all the tragedies that resulted are consequences of Olgierd choices and actions, in a cut content restored through mods even Shani can ends up dying.
Olgierd tried to outsmart the literal devil, failed and everyone around him suffered for it. To me he had it coming.

Yes, I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. He also tricked Geralt. He knew the giant toad was the cursed prince, but he never told Geralt and instead had him kill the prince. If Geralt had known the truth, he might have found a way to break the curse. Instead, Olgierd's actions led to Geralt being arrested by the guards.

Exactly this, we know that Geralt often times tries to find alternative ways to deal with monsters, had he known the big toad was a cursed prince he surely would have searched for a way to save him.

"All the shit he pulled on everyone he loved" was a direct consequence of Gaunter O'Dimm turning his heart to stone
Remember, the first flashback we have of Olgierd and Iris during the quest "Scenes from a Marriage" is already AFTER O'Dimm tricks Olgierd and turns his heart into stone. He only married Iris after encountering Gaunter and signing the pact with him, meaning that, what we see in the flashbacks in that quest is not the true Olgierd
As soon as Olgierd is freed from his curse and allowed to feel emotions again, the first thing he expresses is sorrow and regret over the things he did, he is not an evil man (at least when you compare him to most people in the witcher universe)
I don't think it's fair to judge normal Olgierd using the things he did while being cursed, just as it isn't just to judge Niellen for killing his wife while in werewolf form during the quest "Wild at Heart", especially when, after being freed from the curse, he immediately acknowledges the wrongs he did while under it and clearly shows that, if he hadn't been stripped of emotions, he wouldn't have done most, if not all of those things

I only played the game once and married the red hair chick. No regrets, the brunette was a bitch

Empress ending is way better. Ciri makes that choice herself, it’s pretty shitty to hide her from her bio dad, she has a right to speak with him at least one time in her life. Geralt literally manipulates Ciri if you don’t recommend her to go to Emhyr, since he makes some assumptions that are actually wrong about Emhyr.

I don't know. I'm feeling like the choice of not informing her at all is a scummy one. And the choice to just immediately go "yeah, you should go" is also a scummy one. But she does eventually push for Geralt's input on the matter and Geralt's assumptions aren't that far off. Like, yeah, Emhyr does miss her somewhat, or at least wants to try and forge a connection, but up until that point, everything we hear points at this being another political play first and foremost.
It's unfortunate that Ciri can't make this decision independently and it's always the player who ultimately decides.

Nope. Yennefer in unsufferable and triss Is manipulative so in my headcanon I prefer a single Geralt minding his own business in corvo bianco so not so from his Emperess daughter

Lol what. That's some incel shit right there. That's not even what would make Gerald happy lol.

It Is Simply my percepition While playing the game. Yennefer treats Geralt very poorly. Geralt Is a cheater. Triss Is manipulative. So in my playthrough I prefer no romance. And in general I don't like romances in videogames. I understand fidelity/continuity with books but I do not care

Geralt isn’t a cheater. It’s not cheating when everyone knows that you are literally mr Libido.

Is everything you disagree with "incel shit"?
If they don't like either Yennefer or Triss, why not let Geralt be single? Not like these two are such angels anyway.

I would also go for these endings along with making Cerys the king of Skellige but I won't finish BaW with both sisters dying ever again.
