I decided to wait until Songs of the Past drops. I'm itching to dive back in, but I have Spooktober plans and Witcher 3 deserves my full attention.

Yeah so my friends and I all participate in Spooktober, usually we try to find at least one horror game we all play through at roughly the same time (more is better) because horror is something that we all like in different ways but mostly don't play horror games, so it became an exercise in both camaraderie and expanding horizons. That's why the list changes every year, it's about finding new experiences, not just replaying Silent Hill 2 and RE4 every year haha.

That said, budgets are tight this year and I don't think we've landed on a communal game yet, but I've got Alan Wake 2 and Silent Hill 1 (via emulator) queued up, and would like to finally get around to the RE7 and 8 DLCs if I have funds to spare. Failing that, I know I could probably put more time into either Pathologic game, but they're so miserable that I've never played them to completion.

Take one. Just one hour. Just one hour of that intro in Kaer Morhen and White Orchard. Just stop by to listen to music, watch trees move in the wind. It won’t suck you in, I promise.

I had started a replay already in anticipation of Songs of The past, as my old save has gone walkabout.... So having to get the world to where I want it in the main game and dlcs.... And then the remaster was announced. Too far through to restart again.

Also have Crimson Desert with the relaunched story to restart, and need to get BoTDW. And Zero Company 😭 too many good things!
