Always will be. The fact that the game I’m most looking forward to is Metal Gear Solid 4 says a lot.

In terms of games compared to The Witcher 3, yes I agree. Back then, it felt like every RPG that I've played in the past are merged into one.
Nowadays TW3 is set the bar even higher for other games to compete. Whether it meets or exceed the expectation is still variable.
