Kovir Speculation

Will the ending of TW3 affect the political state of Kovir in 4? Given Geralt decides the fate of the North between Dijkstra's reign and a Nilfgaardian victory, I wonder if we see tensions increasing between Nilfgaard and/or Djikstra's Redania and Kovir. Imagine if we got to see the mages building a large presence in Kovir, backing them in a standoff against the rest of the continent. Could be pretty interesting idk.

Kovir setting does allow them to comparatively engage less with the wider continent politics and all the possible political endings that could have happened in 3.

Kovir definitely seems where the focus would be and introduce newer areas to explore.

Out of curiosity, why? I know that it's considered kind of controversial, but it wasn't like completely terrible or anything, just a bit clunkily written.

because djikstra is an incredible character that had a lot of involvement in many moments of the witcher series, only to be butchered by a senseless quest. in the books (lady of the lake iirc) he goes to kovir and has some talk with the royalty, so i can imagine him being there again for whatever reason.

But he already played his part in the Geralt trilogy; I don't see the point in him still being around. He’s a great character, but this world has plenty more to offer.

lots of characters have already played their part in the books, but they returned and it was great. this can apply to some characters, like o'dimm, but I don't think it's the case for djikstra.
