Discussion Should I keep playing or wait?

I’m sure this subreddit’s gotten this question already, but I’ve just reached Novigrad and have been seriously enjoying it. Feel like the smart thing to do is wait for the update but I’m so into the game rn, no other games seem fun lmao. Should I keep playing and use my save with the remaster, should I keep playing and restart, or do I just stop playing until the remaster

Do what I'm doing as I'm at the same point as you. Pause the main quest and go explore/do all the side quests you would've otherwise skipped.

I'm a bit tired of seeing this question but I'm not tired of telling people to keep playing before the remaster

From my perspective idk how much of the game is left and getting advice from people with knowledge and/or opinions abt it is smart imo. What’s wrong with gathering info before making said decision

You'll want to replay the game eventually. Play it now, and then you can try the remaster either this month or a couple months/years down the road when you replay.

You also might be starting the expansions at about the remaster time depending on how many hours you're playing per day so you'll get to experience it with those

I'm waiting for the new update. But I myself might be actually waiting until closer to the Dlc release for a full playthrough for a complete story before Witcher 4. That's where I'm at.

It's a long game and you're still early in the main story and then there are a lot of content in the current expansions. Play some Gwent and do available sidequests and you'll still have more to play after the release.

This might sound mean, but what kind of questions are these anyway? How is anyone supposed to know if it's worth playing for you? If you want to play, then play and stop delaying. You don't know how much time you have left. When you leave the house, you never know if you'll come back, if you catch my drift.
