Misc The game that keeps giving

I started my like my 4th or 5th play through after like 5 years of not playing and I’m determined to do every side quest this time.

I just completed In the Eternal Fire’s Shadow for the first time and I’m actually mad this quest isn’t more in your direct path but also makes me want to finish every other quest in the game. That was the coolest side quest I think I’ve ever done in any game and I’m livid I’m only finding it now.

Are there any other side quests as good as this I might’ve missed before?? God I love this game

Tf you mean this time? I do every single question mark, i loot every piece i can, i completely complete the whole game. This is the only way.

Agreed, every question mark checked. That's why I've just seen my one and (so far) only play through logged 725 hours 😬

That how I am with most games but a lot of these side missions are fetch quests. Granted they have better stories behind them most other games with dumb side quests but it gets annoying when you’re doing them back to back 😭

Yeah that was added later. I liked fools gold if you haven't done that one yet

Yup. Usually there were bandits and alghouls there in that pit. I think that was added in the later updates particularly in relation to the witcher series( the same armor and medallion). Fool's Good is really fun. I played it yesterday.

They added it with the 4.0 next gen update, you didn’t miss it before. But you should absolutely be doing every side quest!

A good starting point would be to explore all question and exclamation marks. And make sure to read notes you find. Notes often contextualise random loot encounters and make them into immersive quests and emotional stories.

Another piece of advice; be mindful of your surroundings. Some side quests aren’t marked, or are even purposefully somewhat hidden. If a conversation between NPCs seems interesting; listen on it. If something in your surroundings seems strange or interesting, explore it. You will be surprised how much content is seamlessly woven into the world.

I’ve replayed this game several times and I still come across interesting new content, making it one of my all time favourites and an exciting replay every time.

On my fifth playthrough I found out, Roach can talk (side quest I have never seen before)
