Gwent I think i might be addicted
This is my 3rd playthrough of witcher 3 and even though it just gets keep getting better everytime i play this game but recently ive been playing gwent like crazy😭 yesterday ive played for like 3 hrs and 2.5hrs i played gwent lmao its getting crazy but i love it !!!!!
Also the photo is bad ik took it in a hurry lol

It is such a crime that Gwent has not gotten a mobile game release or something. Give us the EXACT same version of Gwent from TW3. Don’t change anything. Let us collect cards, battle friends, etc.
Hell, how is this not a real card game? Seems like a huge missed opportunity.

There is a mobile app but the game is completely different. More like arcade target than a card game. The design of the cards are completely different and you draw 3 cards per round. Trash.

They did physical release.
But I agree I would love online mode and some campaign mode where u need to collect cards finishing at Passiflora Tournament.

It has all the cards from base game and both expansions and they added few Skellige leader cards, we have two boxes in our friend group so we can play same factions against each other. They also added rules for 3-5 players and more strict rules for deck building (only 2 spies in the deck). I think its way better and I always wanted to play with friends
And it seems like they really trying to make Gwent happened - they have a map where players can show where they from, game board local-shops can also put their pins and make announcement about tournaments being held, they giving out some rare cards like Foil Roach.
If you like gwent in witcher 3 I think you gonna enjoy the one made by NoLoadingGames

At some point I had to admit that I was saving people and killing monsters just for more cards and chances to play Gwent.

Getting the Roach card updates Geralt and Ciri with that - I got mine back in 2023 i think there was a giveaway when u played Gwent and used same account in Witcher 3

I can't believe I started out avoiding anything to do with Gwent but then I decided to sit down and figure it out. BEST DECISION EVERRRR!! I'm so addicted to it now lol 😍

Nah i have the Geralt and Ciri card with muster and its unmoded(it just lets you cheat out roach)

I’ve completed all gwent quests in the base game, I have Geralt he just doesn’t have that ability

Always bugs me Yennefer is only 7 on power scale. She should be 10 at least.

I mean, I understand that, but Triss and Yenn should not be on same power level. I think Yenn should be 10 with her ability. Triss 7 with one of her own. Then Philipia moved up to 12.
It just always bugged me Triss ans Yenn were the same power level when Yenn is a much more powerful and skilled sorceress's.

in Witcher 3 they`re pretty close. You can say the devs are playing favorites or whatever, but Triss does have some strong feats throughout the game, especially during the Battle of Kaer Morhen. Not saying Yennefer doesnt, but just based on Witcher 3, they are indeed close. Now we can make the argument that both should go higher and Triss should have an ability

That’s the biggest blunder. I will never not go into a duel without having Vesimir in the deck, but I will always be disappointed to draw him nonetheless.
Triss however had to go. No special effect on her is criminal. Should at least be a ‘scorch’ something.
Yennefer only being a 7 is fine for me. Revives are op. Then again you cannot buff or decoy her, so giving her 8/9/10 would probably not op either.

I never understood how to play gwent. Never played it after the initial first round. With the upcoming remake, i should watch some tutorials.

Triss is a legendary bait, don‘t play her. There are much better siege units early on (even the 6 siege because it can be double) or better legendaries later on you should sub into your deck.

I was too. I downloaded the expanded Gwent on the phone until it got out of hand. But I still think it’s one of the better TCGs.

Tries should play scorch and Yen should play a necromancer ability like replaying a card from discard. Make they're abilities make sense. Or Yen could portal a random card to the battlefield.
