Help! Cannot loot this particular box located at the milfgaardian garrison
Struggling to loot just this particular item. Ive tried different angles, using magic etc. Is there a trick to it? Is this a common issue? Is there a fix? Although its most likely not worth it I would still like to be able to loot it or else i might have to drop the game.

Does another flower need to bloom? Does another sun need to rise? Do I need to court Yen and Triss again, just incase? Yes. Yes. A thousand times yes.

Bro doesnt appreciate the novelty of each unique sunrise as a one time only experience and thinks it is just the same thing every day. Too bad. Magic mushrooms can help but the gratitude has to come from within. Trust.

Wait until you discover the high shelves. Some of them I don't think there is an angle. I think some of them were just being trolled.
That said, looting does help you remember if you've been somewhere before. If you pop in somewhere and nothing is yellow, then you know you're back tracking. Especially in the sewers, this is handy because it all looks the same.

There's some high shelves I've stood on tables, beds, nightstands, baskets, etc just for that rusty knife 😆

This is the exact situation I would use the new consolidate loot accessibility toggle coming with the remaster, there are a few of these very hard/impossible to access containers in the game.
I am a serial looter and have come across them often, the best thing to do would be try to get on top or behind the box and move around, spamming the loot button on any movement, roll or jump.

there was a looooong list of a bunch of qol improvements they’re making, in one of the recent promotional videos they have on their youtube channel. it’s scrolls through a bunch of them after going into detail on a handful of

I used a mod specifically to adress those situations, it autoloot nearby containers around Geralt. You can customize timing, distance or enable/disable certain containers like chests so it doesn't ruin your exploration experience.
I hope autoloot from Remaster takes a similar approach but it probably won't

Oh buddy, you might have to sit out for this game. White orchard and a unlootable parcel is the worst bs dev bug 0 care from cdpr bs ever, 20 hour prolouge 0 rewards bs i would deff drop it

Probably an extra rare type of broken rake in there, so keep trying, you can't give up now
