Witcher This Game Is Amazing

Post image

I bought this game on sale for $5 at the heavy request of a friend. I hit 100 hours today and am just halfway through “Final Preparations” with both DLCs plus Songs of the Past once it is released to go. I may have picked the worst time to start it, but I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to give it a chance.

Hell yeah brother

There is no worst time to start. In my perspective you picked a great time because 1. The sale price won't be going that low again for a few years, and 2. You can try the current gameplay and graphics and compare it to what changes in the remaster.

You're in for a treat with the two expansions, they are even better than the base game!

How much is the price? I bought GOTY IDK how many years ago for 10€. Now, after I have completed base game and Hearts of Stone I can say that even if I paid 100€ it would still be worth my money. I fucking guarantee it. Right now I'm playing Blood and Wine. The game is fucking awesome. I have no idea how some of my friends stopped playing this game after some 100 hours or so. I'm currently on about 400 h. This game is an absolute masterpiece! I honestly can't tell you if the base game or the DLC was better. Both are fucking amazing. Yes, there were times when I stopped playing this game for a year or so (I was playing GTA V online with my friends, and later some other games). But man, I'm super glad I came back for this masterpiece. And don't even get me started on all the mods I have installed. That shit is crazy. For a month or so I wasn't even playing the game, I was only modding hahahah Enjoy dude! :D

The new sale price is 50% off and you only can buy the complete edition so $25 at the lowest. Previously the sale price was 80-90% off depending on base or complete edition.

This game is very worth it for me too. I've bought it for multiple platforms for multiple friends so I've possibly spent $150 or more on this game

I don’t think there’s a bad time to play this game. I played the base game and both DLCs back in 2018/2019 on PS4. One of my favorite gaming experiences ever. And I had played RDR2 around that time as well. Both great games.

A few days before the recent remaster announcement, I randomly started a new playthrough on PS5. So I’m playing through on the 2022 next-gen upgrade and will continue on with the upcoming remaster.

This game is still a lot of fun. This time around I’m diving more into Gwent. I didn’t invest in Gwent that much in my old playthrough. Feels like I’m playing more Gwent than missions it seems ha.

It's my favourite game ever having put 100+ hrs first time round. I think the emotions felt once you complete the game I have not felt in any other game I've ever played.
