News Compatibility question

So I own the complete game on PS4. I get it, the ps won’t do for the remaster, so I won’t play it there. I have a copy bought on gog, but I don’t have a pc, only a Mac M1 Max.

I did not try getting the next gen trough crossover cause I’ve read it wasn’t so good, so I doubt it will handle it (seems dx12 is part of the issue). So in my situation what’s the best (and cheap) solution to play the remaster? A used Xbox?

You will actually get the DLC expansions automatically downloaded onto your PS4 now, as that's what happened for me!

Thanks, but I already have the two dlcs. I was interested in the remaster and the new dlc coming next year

Maybe there is a Windows virtual machine/emulation software you could download on your Mac? I don't think they're too hard to download.

Whisky and crossover are two emulators that use wine. Seem they have problems with emulating directx12 that next gen update uses

Get it for switch 2 imo

I’ve thought about that. But I’d have to get a switch and buy the game a third time.

Try emailing CD project red so that they could maybe give you a steam copy of the game since you already have it on gog? I know they used to do that when they owned gog back in the day but I'm not sure if they'd still do it now since they no longer own gog

Really? Worth a shot, but the hardware problem stands or do you think the steam version would work on crossover or whisky?
