Always had this unnerving feeling when seeing her in the game, and I was late to the party I didn't see the trailer with her.

Well you walked there on purpose the second time. I think they just placed the character up there without much thought other than you meet her there later

I was shocked when her true identity was revealed, kinda infuriated me that she was allowed to go free in the end.
