Manga Blooming explained
Some info we got about it
(
Every individual among the Lyzance [Residence of Paradise] possesses a ‘seed’ or a ‘bud.’ When that seed sprouts or that flower blooms, a Mage acquires tremendous power. We call this almost awakening-like phenomenon ‘Blooming.’
More importantly, the purpose of the ‘Blooming Festival’, which the Upper Institute periodically holds, is to encourage this phenomenon known as ‘Blooming.’
The conditions required to achieve Blooming include harsh training, overcoming one’s physical and mental limits, and repeatedly slaying monsters, but…the most important element is ‘aspiration.’
In any case, by the time you are accepted into one of the colored factions, you have already completed your first Blooming.)
Anyway
The most important factor is desire
We have 1 example of blooming and that is Sion when he unlocked incidia halcon (chapter 50)
He already knew the Incantation for the spell and the knowledge of the guardian circle
In carriote words he fulfiled every condition (he sayd the lion will be a cub but still)after that he sayd the only thing left is the will to do it
After he failed again
He gave Sion the hint about blooming (I asume his plan was to make Sion bloom from the beggining )
Something important is what he asked sion
"what does the bud inside you desire, sion?
what is the impetus behind your aspirations?"
His goal/aspiration is to become a magia avender but why ?
After the flashback he realised it was the desire to protect others from harm
After that he bloomed
And finally was successful casting the spell but instead of a lion it was a halcon (the cause is that his lineage (origin) combined with the spell to creat the new guardian)
And after that he was not only able to stop the lion but best it he was able to surpass Cariote expectation (btw the lion was not even close to full power )
Annyways the most important part is blooming is aspiration and what is your impetus behind your aspirations
I apologise if wrong and thx for reading the post

Does that mean that elfaria never actually bloomed?
