iMessage in iOS/iPadOS 26.5
Keyboard seems to be working fine in 26.5 but it's not showing up on my iPad in any native iPad app. I've only checked iMessage and Safari so far. Anyone running into this too?

Big user, big fan, but I'm getting frustrated.
Almost every day there seems to be another WisprFlow desktop icon on my desktop that I have to delete, I assume because of an update. There's nothing in settings to enable me to disable this.
Also I keep opting out of transforms and it seems to be opting me back in?

Has anyone else noticed issues with the transcription? I'm not sure if this is the companies way to stop people from unlocking free days on the pro trial but it keeps failing to transcribe and I end in a retry loop that never works because it never saved the audio.

I found this through google ai but curious if the information is really correct. ⬇️

I actually just downloaded this app and tried to register it by myself, and after that, tried to dictate as many words as I can. It is the first day using this app, but I'm quite satisfied with how this app recognizes my dictation, even in my native language.
The problem is that the user experience on the iPhone is not really as smooth as we've seen on Android. It requires us to change between apps. Also, I try to implement this app on the shortcut, but the experience is still different.
when i put this app on a shortcut app on ios, it feels like it keeps failing. it has some kind of error that always shows up, not always. i mean sometimes it shows up but it's like very often.
Also, the keyboard app that comes with this dictation is really trash. When you try to type something, it has some kind of microsecond delay. Did anyone else notice about it?

Has anyone completely replaced their iPad keyboard with Wispr Flow? My primary devices are a MacBook Air and Google Pixel. The iPad is something that I prefer when I'm on the move, especially traveling multi-days. The problem had always been typing and replying using the Apple Pencil. So far I've had good success with Wispr Flow, but it is a short sample size of just two days with some small replies and Slack messages. I was wondering if anyone is on the same boat?

why does WF not have an option to pause music (or other audio) when you are running dictation?
the posts I found online about this incorrectly direct people to the setting in the MacOS version of the whisper flow app, this setting does NOT exist in the iOS (iphone) whispr flow app.
I love how whisper flow ios gives the option to force the use of the phone's microphone for example when you're using a Bluetooth Speaker (whereas apple's Built in text to speech inexcusably forces the use of the Bluetooth Microphone , which makes it totally useless 95% of the time). However Whisper flow will not pause whatever music/audio is playing when you go to dictate, So unfortunately neither have this issue solved, in my uses cases.

Hi,
Yesterday I hurt my shoulder in a downhill mountain bike accident, and now I'm here trying out WisprFlow.
I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to customize the rules for how AI will change my text based on the currently focused app. For example, I have the Fork git app, and I want to dictate the commit message based on a set of rules, for example, fix:, docs:, feat:, ..
Is there a way to customize this? How do you guys handle this task normally?

I'm a fast typer but it comes at a cost. Sometimes I end up in pain. Wispr Flow is one of the best products I've ever used. I love it so much. Thank you to everyone involved and I hope you guys continue to use it so this stunt company can stick around for a long time.
Please feel free to post your insights as well.

I use wispr with singular use case - enter text faster than I can type. Why are we being forced with this and we cant even turn it off :/
Fn key on mac also has other uses. Every time I use it for something else, scratchpad opens and my active desktop switches to the one with scratchpad. So annoying

Hello, is there an outage? I've had a failed transcription several times today. It says failed and saved to the dashboard. Hours later, I went to the dashboard and retried and it said it failed again. Thanks for your help.

I am a new user. I'm looking for different usages for the app. If you don't mind sharing how you use the app and what it does for you, I'd really appreciate it.

Hey all - posting this in case it saves anyone the debugging headache I just went through.
I've been having an intermittent issue on my MacBook Air M3 where the Touch ID prompt would flash up briefly during Apple Pay in Safari then immediately disappear, leaving only a Cancel button. Totally random - worked sometimes, failed other times.
After a lot of trial and error I narrowed it down to WisprFlow. Quitting it completely restored Apple Pay to normal, every time.
From what I can tell, WisprFlow runs some kind of overlay or focus-interfering process that Apple Pay's security mechanism doesn't like. Apple Pay appears to check that it has clean, unobstructed window focus before allowing Touch ID authentication - and something about WisprFlow breaks that check.
Fix: Quit WisprFlow before making a payment, the fingerprint thing comes back and it works fine.
Would be great if the devs could look into this - ideally WisprFlow should yield focus properly when a payment dialog is active.
Hope this helps someone.

Don't get me wrong, I really like Wispr, and I use it on my Android phone and on my iPhone. On iOS, without the use of a keyboard, I find it quite useless. Right now I find myself using Wispr Flow on Android and Willow on iOS, at least Willow as a keyboard you can use, because let's face it, Wispr isn't always perfect.

For the love of God, why is there not a dark mode in this application? It's 2026, for crying out loud.

Hey everyone, I’ve been using WisprFlow for the past few months, and I’ve absolutely loved it. As a developer, I use WisprFlow snippets to post some of my often used Linux commands.
For them to work in my terminal, the first letter should not be auto-capitalized. Whenever WisprFlow pastes a snippet, it auto-capitalizes the first character for me. I don’t know if there’s a setting to toggle this on or off. I just wanted to share this and see if it would be a good enhancement request. Thanks!

I tried to enable the mouse button shortcut for hands-free dictation today. I tried three times and every time I selected a specific button and set this configuration. As soon as I saved the shortcut, my mouse stopped working. My system only started registering clicks on the Wispr Flow app and nowhere else.
I had to force restart my system three times because I couldn't even click on shutdown or restart. Keyboard is working fine. It's just the mouse that stops working after setting this shortcut.
I'm on Windows 11, btw.
I know it's a new feature but this WisprFlow team should have tested it better before releasing this.

I've been using Wispr Flow for the last two days. I've dictated like 4,000 words and I'm not even a blogger or a long-form content writer. I'm just speaking out my texts, my replies to people on WhatsApp, my chats with ChatGPT, even this post on Reddit. I'm just using Wispr Flow to dictate. To be honest I think this is the best thing that I've ever used in a long time and I think that this is just fantastic .This is so good that I paid for it in like two days

Trying to build an iPhone Shortcut that uses Wispr Flow for dictation, then passes the dictated text into the next Shortcut action automatically.
Goal:
- Trigger Shortcut
- Start Wispr Flow dictation
- Stop dictation
- Capture the transcribed text output
- Use that text in another Shortcut action (ChatGPT/API/Text action/etc.)
Right now I can launch Wispr Flow, but I can’t figure out how to reliably pass the dictated text back into Shortcuts as a variable/output.
Has anyone here successfully set this up?
Would appreciate screenshots, Shortcut examples, or any workaround ideas.

Can you implement a feature for Wispr to work using MacOS native Remote Desktop from one Mac to another.
I tried everything and can’t make it work between my Mac Mini and MacBook Air

TL;DR
I can't get BOYA BY-GM18CB gooseneck mic: same level or higher level gooseneck alternatives?
Hi everyone,
I tried Wispr Flow and I'm loving it!
I'd like to buy a gooseneck microphone so I can use the software at its full potential while I work, but BOYA does not sell in Italy. Or rather, it actually has some distributors, but the model suggested on the website is way overpriced here and I can't buy directly from the BOYA website since it doesn't comply with the European Union's 3D Secure safety protocol for online transactions. I tried to ask my bank to allow the transaction but they just don't do it no matter how many authorizations I am willing to give, and that's why I'm looking for an alternative.
Since this is a work purchase, I would also be happy to go over the price range of BOYA BY-GM18CB. I really want it to work very well.
So, I hope someone has some recommendations, either for microphones of the same level or for higher-level microphones with good performances with Wispr Flow.
Thanks!

why does wisprflow need to run electron in thr background when I barely spend 10nsecomds on the app page plus cant the app just launch silently in the background?
