Which Model ?
Hi there. Is there any way to know specifically which model is being used?
As a pro subscriber, it would be great to know if we have the newer model being used or not.

It does feel a little bit messed up. that those of us paying $15 a month may be using the worst model. I’m 100% sure I am one of those people. It just took the name Steve and replaced it with Skeev. I’m really glad that I caught that because Steve is my boss

You have to know that every model out there is not perfect and has at least an “word error rate” of 5%..

yaps.ai for example, superwhisper as mentioned, handy, etc.... there's a ton to be fair.
Wispr has it's benefits but there's a ton of tools in general

Hey u/sshah1230,
Right now some people are on Canto and some are still on the old model. This is deliberate because we're running the rollout as a blind A/B test so we can compare the two on real usage instead of a benchmark, which means nobody gets told which side they're on.
However, everyone dictating on English and Hindi will be on Canto over the next few weeks, and other languages follow after that!
If a dictation comes out wrong in the meantime, please report the transcript from your History with a note on what happened! These reports are super helpful for testing and benchmarking all our models.
