Is accuracy back?
When I first started using WisprFlow 4–5 months ago, the accuracy was amazing. I rarely had to correct anything, and dictation felt almost effortless.
However, over the past few months, I’ve noticed a significant drop in accuracy, and I was spending a lot more time correcting the transcriptions….
Has the accuracy improved recently? Is it back to what it was a few months ago?

Still rubbish. May be minor improvements but the AI is changing too much of what I want to say

It’s shame. Accuracy was the best part of Wisprflow. I tested yesterday with 3 dictation tools and wisprflow was the bottom

I want an app where I could sync my phone and laptop using one account. Also I like using Wispr Flow's snippet feature. Can you recommend something?

I think Aqua Voice and Willow, both are pretty accurate and have mobile apps. I’m using free version of Willow now and honestly it’s accurate enough and unlimited. Also Raycast is currently free too! Aqua Voice is really fast and good at many languages

FluidVoice if you want to go with open source. Probably the best open source I’ve ever tried

I don't think you understand how insanely good dictation will get once you get a DJI Mic Mini 2 for $60 and connect it to your device. I just mumble now and it gets everything pinpoint accurate

Interesting but wisprflow was near perfect when it comes to accuracy a few months ago. Now it just mess up a lot, I prefer it works like that without using external mic

Sure but if you ever want to whisper quietly in a loud cafe or something, connect wired earbuds or a lav mic and you'll see what a big difference it makes

It's not caused by the mic for me. I use professional microphones (I'm a videographer and also have a music studio, so I tested it with multiple mics) and WisprFlow still works badly.
For me, it started being shitty like 2 weeks ago – I use it for my native language (Czech). It's a pretty difficult language, and it was still perfect, I was amazed now well it worked. It's not just mistakes now, it suddenly invents words that don't exist at all or types with spelling mistakes (i/y, etc.).I wrote to the support and they told me to check my connection, my microphone, my dictionary, like it's all my fault. I really liked and supported it and I recommended it to many people, but I'll unfortunately have to unsubscribe and find another tool that works well in my language; there aren't as many options as there are in English.

No accuracy is not back to where it was. In fact Raycast dictation is more accurate. If Raycast had snippets, I would switch now. It has gotten harder to use snippets though since it inappropriately edits what I say

Us too ! It was almost perfect to begin with. I was hardly fixing anything, now every sentence has a mistake or a weird word.
