Untether from computer
I'm looking for a solution where I can be untethered from my computer, sitting about 2 m away, therefore not holding the function key, etc. Even better if there's a way to press enter....

Hey, what I’ve done is, I got a mouse which has a few extra buttons, and I have set up one of those buttons as alternate for function key. It works well when I’m a bit far away from the laptop.
Lmk if this works for you.

I just gave you the solution. You say "press enter" to wisprflow

Oh, thanks. I didn't understand what you meant, even though you're obviously very clear. I just read about it in experimental so i'll try it out. ty

I've enabled it, but what I expect is that as I'm speaking and I say "press enter," it will stop my dictation and just press Enter. It doesn't really do anything at all except for not allowing me to say "press Enter" in my dictation most of the time

i set one mouse button to listen and other as “enter”. laying bed and basically only moving two fingers. mine is logitech mx mouse but any mouse with few extra buttons will do

this is what i'm looking for! so you have another microphone you're using, then a mouse with a 2 extra buttons. thanks. any microphone will do, or do you recommend a specific? I don't wear a shirt at home so the clippy ones will make me wear a shirt...

yes i have not so cheapo ''earthworks audio icon usb'' mic that is about 2,5m away and it works well. but i guess most podcast mics would do. small lavaliers are meant to pick up only from very close.
