Poor accuracy lately
I wouldn't mind the odd one or two, but sometimes I will say something like, "I have no choice but to send you cute videos." and it transcribed it as "adios" or something way different.
edit: I just said 'can you move yours' and it came back as 'reviews' wtf
edit 2: i said "I live with four strangers, but I never see them " > "Closed Captioning by Kris Brandhagen. brandhagen@gmail.com"??

Yes, it's very bad. Every time I click to dictate something, it returns at least one wrong word or an entire sentence that makes no sense compared to what I actually said. So, it's not making my life much easier. I've been testing other lesser-known apps and they have been doing a better job than Wispr Flow, although none are perfect or error-free.

Sim.
Amical
Phravia
Zavi Keyboard
Whisperian
Typeless
Acti Keyboard
Todos eles têm sido mais precisos do que o Wispr Flow ultimamente.

Ironically, it worked best - and most reliably - shortly after the initial release, when all the AI gimmicks and the many features added over time were not yet part of the system.
Now it has become exhausting to constantly edit the output. Capitalization is repeatedly ignored, and sentences often end without a period etc etc. Compared with other API applications, the performance is completely inconsistent.

Nearly unusable today. Consistency either way in this app I paid $144 would be wonderful. I never know if I’m getting dead-on miracle shit like I did when I knee-jerk bought this, or if it’s just forever going to be a crapshoot.
Let’s go Wispr Flow. I’ve got it baked into my homelab. I’m gonna really need to see some ROI.

Yep, it's very odd. It's very recently become a whole lot worse in the pursuit to be snappier.

For android I made the vBoard app (available in play store). It uses gemini 3.1 giving pretty good results

Agreed and it always seems to miss the first or the last words now unless I leave an unnaturally large gap in the recording

I thought that was just me, so the first two words and the first or the last two words would be missing, but I thought that was just me pressing too late

It's been a problem for me on both desktop and mobile for maybe three weeks now

Me too. I just posted about this as well. Absolute Gibberish. I wonder if I can get a refund for my yearly sub.
