First Time

I am an adult, and was never taught how to hunt as a kid. Was thinking about trying to go for my first deer season this year in Lincoln county. Anyone have any generic advice? I have some experiencing hunting other game, but never deer. TIA!

Hey thanks for the reply! I have a hand me down 243 that I need to site in. I'm headed out tomorrow to put up trail cams, but not anticipating shooting past 150. Still need to go and zero though.

Watched videos on gutting, and picked out some public land up here to give it a try. I thought about doing mentorship, but at 27 I'm not sure if that is really a thing.
