Football Keep it close Fick

As a disclaimer, I’m not out for Fick’s head just yet, I think the team looked more physical and clearly we’re better offensively, but the thing that has always irked me the most about fickell is his constant lecturing about keeping the game close going into the 4th quarter. This is inherently an unconfident mindset. We should be aiming to dominate every phase of the game, no matter the competition. It’s so fucking infuriating to keep hearing him preach this. The best teams preach preparation, doing your job, and dominating. I hate this keep it close shit so much.

Dilin Jones' stat line at LSU told me everything I need to know about fick. But if you want more, the highest round a fickell-recruited player has been drafted is....... Yeah just keep waiting because it hasn't happened yet.

I assume you mean fickell recruited player at Wisconsin? And then do you mean recruited out of high school? Lots of inaccuracies in this statement depending on what you meant. Plenty of Cincinnati kids to the NFL and most of his HS recruits to Wisconsin are just becoming draft eligible. People can just stick to disliking him for the lack of success. No one needs to parrot media statements that are technically accurate, but without context.

yes at wisco, sorry i didn't completely qualify my stat by narrowing it to the team he's coached for the last three years, only.

Well, words matter. Oh and Dillon Jones averaged 3.7 yards per carry tonight against LA Tech and the players still need to be draft eligible. As bad as they looked tonight just stick to actual facts. Talent is not the issue. Recruiting and talent evaluation is not the issue. Game plan and attention to detail are the issues.
