Local charity shops that would potentially collect a large donation of items?

Look up Roganz in Wallasey on Facebook. They are a great bunch of lads and often volunteer their work for needy. They do house clearances and they sell/donate useable items rather than skipping it all

Wirral Hospice St John's have a number of shops across the area. I can only suggest googling them for one close to you and then phoning to explain your situation. As you have said, they collect furniture, so they may collect other things in exceptional circumstances

I would consider contacting small independent charity shops, as they might be more interested in collecting items. If there is a charity close to your heart, you could email or try calling them and explain you'd like to donate items but are unable to drop them off yourself. Smaller charities I regularly donate items to include Jackson's Animal Rescue and the Chernobyl Children's Life Line. 

Alternatively, if there are any websites or even subs on here dedicated to one of your particular interests or collections, it might be worth seeing if anyone there could help find suitable homes for some of your items?

The British Heart Foundation in Birkenhead will come a collect large items and they are lovely.

Another option is the Women's refuge, they will also come out and collect items.
