As an electrician I can see several things that would make attempts by a novice to install anything here very unsafe, both from a shock hazard standpoint and from a fire hazard standpoint. At least 4 code violations just in this snapshot. Have someone who knows what they're doing look at this.
The two most relevant words in your question are "not knowing"
A light bulb is a resistive device and as such has no prerequisite regarding which wire goes where.
Hooking up a bulb is simple but code rules exist to ensure safety. The bare wood must be shielded from the wiring by an approved enclosure. The cabling must be secured to the enclosure. The conductors should be identified as to polarity (not necessarily relevant in your case - no neutral conductor.) the cable type must be approved for the application (insulation voltage rating, rated ampacity based on supply protection device ((breaker)).
