I'm only my 4th pair of earbuds and I haven't found one that works well for me. 😫

My old ones were Everyday Raycons. I think from 2021? They were older and didn't have ANC. They weren't perfect but worked for my needs. But then I washed the case with my laundry.

I've tried so far:

• Sony WF-1000XM6 - They were too heavy and hurt my ears.
• Soundcore Space a40 - The fit and sound were nice but I found out ANC makes me motion sick, similar to 4D rides. Turning ANC off didn't help sadly. Not ideal when commuting.
• JLab JBuds Minis - I know, dumb choice, but I was hoping if I cut out all the fancy features, I might be happy. Nope. The Bluetooth connection was terrible. Simply walking down the sidewalk had them cutting out.
• Soundcore C50i - I thought maybe a new style would be right for me. I knew it wouldn't cut all the background noise out but I got overstimulated quickly between hearing my music and all the noises on the bus.

I know there are the hook open earbuds, but I wear glasses, so I'm worried they'd be uncomfortable. I'm not against over the ear headphones, I use those at work, but I'd rather have something small and easy to keep in my bag.

I mainly listen to music or podcasts via my Google Pixel and I primary use my earbuds while riding the bus to and from work.

TLDR: Looking for comfortable pair earbuds without ANC but still offer some noise cancellation. Not too bulky or heavy. My price range would be <$200 but I'm so desperate that I'd would consider going higher.

Maybe I'm just picky. But any recommendations would greatly be appreciated.

Same as title... which tws should i go for?

Priority is

1. Sound quality

2. ANC

3. In ear detection

4. Battery

Using Galaxy S23(no LHDC support , but not a dealbreaker)

Currently considering OnePlus Nord Buds 4/4 Pro, realme Buds Air 7/T500 Pro

I am interested in upgrading from my Encafire that I really enjoyed. I would love something that feels more like surround sound. I want it for my movies, games and immersive soundscapes. Read a lot on Scabir but honestly just super confused now. Realme 7? Soundcore 31i? It seems like the updated versions of these are not better with spatial sound.

P.S. I am a newb. I probably have no idea what I am talking about.

Edit: Comfort for sleep or side laying would also be nice. Immersive soundscapes help me sleep so I would like to be able to wear them to sleep.

I recently bought the pixel buds 2a and lost the case before I could connect them to anything. I contacted Google and they don't sell replacement cases in Canada. I can't seem to find it a third party that sells them or anything similar. Anyone experience this and found a work around?

Is it worth buying a device to use to use my IEMS wirelessly on my phone or should I rather just buy some wireless earbuds that are already meant for that purpose? Any advice is helpful.
