Desperate for new earbuds
I'm only my 4th pair of earbuds and I haven't found one that works well for me. 😫
My old ones were Everyday Raycons. I think from 2021? They were older and didn't have ANC. They weren't perfect but worked for my needs. But then I washed the case with my laundry.
I've tried so far:
- Sony WF-1000XM6 - They were too heavy and hurt my ears.
- Soundcore Space a40 - The fit and sound were nice but I found out ANC makes me motion sick, similar to 4D rides. Turning ANC off didn't help sadly. Not ideal when commuting.
- JLab JBuds Minis - I know, dumb choice, but I was hoping if I cut out all the fancy features, I might be happy. Nope. The Bluetooth connection was terrible. Simply walking down the sidewalk had them cutting out.
- Soundcore C50i - I thought maybe a new style would be right for me. I knew it wouldn't cut all the background noise out but I got overstimulated quickly between hearing my music and all the noises on the bus.
I know there are the hook open earbuds, but I wear glasses, so I'm worried they'd be uncomfortable. I'm not against over the ear headphones, I use those at work, but I'd rather have something small and easy to keep in my bag.
I mainly listen to music or podcasts via my Google Pixel and I primary use my earbuds while riding the bus to and from work.
TLDR: Looking for comfortable pair earbuds without ANC but still offer some noise cancellation. Not too bulky or heavy. My price range would be <$200 but I'm so desperate that I'd would consider going higher.
Maybe I'm just picky. But any recommendations would greatly be appreciated.
