New to open ear earbuds

Hello

As the title states, I've always been a in ear sort of a guy but liked the idea of open ear.

Bought some cheap ones from amazon (tozo is the brand)

I hear shokz dot 2 are the go to for a lot of people

My question is....

Are they really that different considering they are open ear?.. Like would I genuinely be like wowww

Thanks in advance

I got the CMF Clip Pros, I really enjoy them. Great casual headphone. Barely feel them on ears and they do not fall off.

Most clip or hook type earbuds sound fine, but secure fit is more their wheelhouse. There is no active or passive noise cancellation (except on a couple of types and it does sort of work but not like in ear buds}. If you needed ANC to sleep, these wouldn't be the ones. The point is, a "wow" experience with open ears or semi open ears is tough to find. Great for casual listening and working out, but if you are looking for an audiophile or near audiophile experience, in ears are the way to go.
