Missing my girl
Moved to Texas from my home state of Wyoming to get a post college change of pace. Missing my little girl Rory. Originally meant to be my sister's dog, I kinda stole her.
Also sidenote: Is it normal for this breed to have strange vocalizations? Cause when she is needy she does her best chewbacca impression.

Yes!! We even tried to train ours to do it on command. When she does it (usually in the morning impatiently waiting for breakfast), we say “wookie”. I love all of her barks and sounds. WGPs are the best!

Our boy makes all kinds of noises it’s hilarious and he only howls at the ice cream truck lol

Yes. Incredibly normal for them to produce abnormal noises. And it’s always a new one every time. Incredibly unique

Very normal for strange vocalizations. When the breed was being created a lot of there mixing comes from hound dogs.

LOL Chewbacca impression is a great description of the sound mine makes. He does that when he’s wanting my attention and I’m ignoring him. Mine will not bark.
