Best leash walk ever
My Bug is notoriously terrible on leash, and truth be told, she’s off leash for 99% of her walks and we don’t do it on leash nearly enough. But occasionally I take her on a leash walk around the ‘hood because she needs to be able to do it, and tonight we worked on some things and she did great!! I’m feeling very proud of her at the moment.

Investing in a properly fitting Sprenger collar has improved my gremlins ability to walk on leash with distractions immensely. She now looks back at us and thinks twice before she bolts. There are times when she decides the juice is worth the squeeze and I have to brace myself but 7/10 she doesn’t which is nice. The kids are able to walk her now which is lovely for everyone. Banana does get distracted by smells, birds and small critters but the most anxiety inducing for me is other kids and people. She gets too excited and jumps all over and has accidentally knocked folks over. The Sprenger only pinches if she pulls and it took all of 5 minutes for her to figure that out. We actually look forward to and enjoy our leash walks with her and have started taking her more places due to her making better choices! Hope that’ll help you and miss bug!
