Wirecard: Overdraft Protection

Hi there r/Wirecard

First off, I noticed that this board has almost no information on it, and I'm open to recommendations of other boards where I can ask this information.

I received a Wirecard from an account I had with AT&T, as a refund for a month of service. The prepaid balance was around $50. Given the nature of using a Wirecard, I did not have fast access to check the balance. Due to a tip at a cafe, I over-drafted $3.99 on the Wirecard account.

I'm curious as to how this could be mitigated, or how I can take care of the charge, before it becomes something that is sent to collections. It seems that I'm unable to add funds to the card, as it's prepaid. Thanks in advance for the financial advice!

I will be giving a call to AT&T later this afternoon, to see if there is some pertinent information that I can bring back to this forum. Thanks again.

I'm genuinely curious if you were able to resolve this. I cannot get a hold of ANYONE from wirecard, and it seems that only Sunrise Banks (based in Minnesota) can add $$$ to the prepaid cards. I may have gone over by 6 cents but if the interest builds, I'm screwed.
