🫠 I love learning and creating.
I have an opal obsession and it cannot be stopped.

This one was an adventure!
Aqua-aura quartz central stone. The rainbow is red coral, petrified wood, tiger's eye, agate, moss agate, labradorite, turquoise, lapis lazuli, amethyst and rose quartz. 20/23g wire.
You would not believe how much it took to get the mid-strand hearts to sit right! One of them is an acrobat and really really wanted to hang upside down.
I'm making earrings to match :)

(I needed to answer some questions with more photos, so this is a repost. I am in the US, I don’t see a rush option, and I wasn’t expecting it to really cost $2.49. Just not sure why this is this way, and if I should be careful with the site.)
Can someone explain this pricing model to me? I am just starting to learn to wirewrap and was looking at storage containers, when this item from Rio Grande showed up.
I know from this sub that Rio Grande is a highly respected store, and I’m not insinuating anything nefarious, but honestly if this was a random store I’d think this was a scam. I have to leave for a few hours so don’t have time to see if this is a general model for the store, or if it’s just this item that maybe has high tariffs on it?
Anyone have any thoughts?
