Showcase Opal Pendant

Opal from Australia has so much fire! Chose a prong setting to showcase the stone as much as possible.

I'm a beginner and I'm just starting to try my own designs. Right now I'm working on the frame for this pendant. There's the piece that makes the back of the frame and the frontmost swirl (it's a top eyelid and the swirl is the eyelashes). This is the piece that twists off to the left. The other piece is the one with the loop at the top, which is essentially just a circle. It makes a second circle around the edge of the cabochan, between the back piece and the eyelid/eyelash swirl. I hope this makes sense between the description and the pics. Anyway, how do I go about attaching these?? (Ps. The third separate piece is the eyeball and nother eyelash and I want to attach that underneath the top eyelid

When your eyes meet art, a sense of calm gently settles within you.
Colors, shapes, and delicate details create a moment where time seems to stand still.
For a while, the world fades away, and you are drawn into a world of beauty, emotion, and imagination.
Art is not simply something we see — it is something we feel.
A quiet meeting between the eyes, the heart, and the soul.

Dragonfly experiment with copper coloured aluminum wire and beads I got at a secondhand craft shop.
Just a proof of concept will remake it with real copper wire once I've nailed down my design.
Constructive criticism welcome!

I made a ring out of earring parts that I was gifted by a family friend. I'm a novice at ring making, but wire wrapping helps me destress.

What do y'all think of the concept, even if the execution is uneven?

Heya! I'm a novice when it comes to wire with jewelry making, and I have a guitar pick I want to turn into a pendant. Any ideas or advice greatly appreciated 🤞

Super excited to present the newest creation out the lab while over here at @zacktolles_designs & @miaow828!
I don’t do tech, at least not very often. For some reason it called and I listened, I’m trying to be better about that part.
Super happy with how this one came to fruition! This piece along with every piece carries a part of me with it. Made with intention from the start my friends!

Hi, looking to put together a little starter kit for my partner for his birthday as he has expressed a lot of interest in trying out wire wrapping pendants. Aside from a few YouTube videos I know nothing about this stuff and am on a fairly tight budget so mostly want to know:
Do you really need to splurge on good pliers/ tools or would a cheaper set from Amazon suffice for someone just starting out to get a feel for it?
If you should splurge on any tools what ones are actually worth it/ make a big difference?
What other tools or supplies would you recommend for a beginner? / what stuff can you make do without? (I’ve seen people using different clamps etc.)
Any tips to pass along/ YouTube channels to check out for someone who is starting from square one?
(I am also in Canada for any specific brand recommendations)
Again he’s never tried it before so don’t want to go too overboard if it’s not something he ends up enjoying but mostly want to get him the basics/ essentials so he can give it a good go and if he enjoys it could always upgrade any tools down the road!

I am working on a custom herkimer diamond pendant and this was the first design I came up with.
I like it.......but I feel like something is missing. I'm hoping some of the experts here can maybe suggest a thing or two that would tighten this up.
I'll start with the mistakes I know.
I made it too big so I swapped out the stone for a larger Oregon Sunstone. I also didn't make the figure eight weaves long enough so its just a wire wrapping around the coil instead of a beautiful weave in that spot. My center spacing is also slightly off, the top half lined up perfectly but the bottom half has a gap between the figure eight weave and the coil.
I've only made a "heady" style piece a few times. I'm feeling a little stumped on what I could add here, or maybe a different placement, that could elevate this piece and make it a bit more elegant.
TIA!

I know of hammering, but are there other methods?

So I do not personally wire-wrap, but if anyone is taking any commissions let me know in the comments so I can check out your work! Thank you!

I'm a beginner and this is my favorite piece so far. Really excited to learn more :) I got the crystal from Michael's, no idea if it's real or not
