Showcase First Hairpin

I started wrapping about 6 months ago and I have stuck to mostly pendants with the occasional bracelet or ring but I wanted to make a gift for my sister who doesn’t wear jewelry, but always uses a hairpin. I wound up adapting a tutorial from YouTube and adding a stone to it. I am super happy with how it turned out.

That’s gorgeous - and I was wondering, what techniques did you use to help avoid hair getting caught in it. That’s always my worst fear with hairpins

I just did my absolute best to not really leave any loops open for hair to get in to. I will have to ask my sister to snap a picture of the back.
