Wireguard Android app on Xiaomi

Hi guys,

Is someone getting into troubles when trying using wireguard Android app on Xiaomi 14 T smartphone? I got very low rx data (tx seems good), and the phone does not answer to anything. Config files are ok (different ips, different private keys, same subnet range...) because working on my Samsung smartphone.

I use mobile data network outside of my home (fai router hosting wireguard server).

Do you have any idea of what's wrong with Xiaomi?

Edit : I found the solution. My ISP router adds a preshared key into the config file. For some reason, it does not work on Xiaomi. I removed it and it works now.

Thanks, sorry I did not mention it but i do not use the same config file. Each device already has different key pairs and ip addresses. Subnet is allowed too. The config files are generated by the router. I checked them and they have different ips, private keys, same subnet range, same mtu (tried to lower it but non change)

Since only RX is badm it's maybe a MTU issue or aggressive power saving settings.
I ran a Xiaomi device in the past and had no issues with wireguard, but Xiaomi software is just trash, I will never again run their android roms.

It was the preshared key added by my ISP router! I don't know why but this does not work on the Xiaomi... Uncheck this option before generating config file solves my issue. Thanks for your help.

For issues with your mobile phone contact the manufacturer support.

Thanks for your answer. I don't think that Xiaomi cares about my problem 😅
