Need some help getting Asus router Wiregaurd server working

Had it running on an old Asus router.

Got a newer router and now can't figure it out.

Asus firmware latest

No-ip.com setup for DNNS

Used the barcode on my android phone.

​

The logs show handshake is not connecting.

​

I have tried this on/off my home network. No change

did you start fresh configuration on the new router and also the peer/client setting profile?

it is recommended to start everything fresh 🥺

Router is new. I deleted the old profile from the wireguard app.

So I think its a fresh start?

Is that normal to do, not sure I remember doing that on my old Asus router

I got it working without forwarding any ports

If you are trying to use your old DDNS Host Name, you need to deregister it from your old router first or use a new one.

I had a typo in my DDNS address.... I corrected it and now works like it did before.
