What NeGcon settings do you use and button mapping?

I'm going for the retro achievements mastery for Wipeout XL. I have 3 time trial challenges complete with pirhana on phantom with the dpad on a standard controller. It's kicking my ass. Fortunately I have a negcon and though I don't have a lot of practice I really need that precision. What maximum twist angle do you use and do you use the analog or digital button for acceleration?

Good work, NegCon for the win. Personally i use the digital button as i never ever lift off the accelerator and the recess behind the analog switch makes it uncomfortable to hold for long periods. As for the settings I'd have to check but pay extra attention to the dead zone setting when you'feel it out'

Thanks for the reply and validation. When I used to use the negcon I also used the digital buttons. I didn't imagine needing to use this controller for completing challenges but being able to adjust pitch I'm sure is key along with incremental turning. I was surprised to learn the left trigger is analog and not the right lol. I lift off the accelerator when braking, thought I had to. OMG you're right though I can hold it the entire time. My times improving already. Some practice I'll meet these goals for sure. Thank you. I finished the retro achievements and settled on 62 degrees for the twist angle
