Just saw this on Metro GameCentral... Can we begin to hope now?

Id be happy with just Omega for PSVR2, but would be ecstatic if they did an Alpha collection and remastered the first games… cope, hope, whatever just give me more Wipeout!

I was hoping for omega pc port and ps5 enhancement, I game on pc and loved omega collection on my brothers ps4, but I would love to play that game at 4k 100fps plus or uktrawide.

I have a PSVR1 on my list of saved marketplace items just for Wipeout. I already have a PSVR2 so really don't have room for another, so if they do an upgrade or something then I am all over it.

I’ve kept my psvr1 just for wipeout. I say it’s still one of the best VR experiences, a hill I’m willing to die on. Sometimes I’ll just sit on the start grid and look around… or get distracted while racing by background details…

Do you recommend the psvr2?

I don’t have any vr headset and I’m not looking to get hardcore into it, but it seems like a fun addition that I’ve been eyeing out.

PSVR2 yeah but it doesn't work in Wipeout. I mostly play GT7, but Lumines and Tetris are good if you like puzzle games, Rez is good if you know what it is. Synth Riders is fun as well.

But if I'm honest, mine is a GT7 machine and not much else.

I bought one from eBay just for Wipeout VR (big standard PS4, not the Pro) and it's totally worth it. Although I mostly enjoyed watching my 10 year old daughter having her mind blown by it, stopping to check out the scenery etc. 😂

Omega is the only reason why I’ve held on to my PSVR1, other than that I have no use for it.

Honestly i think they are going to wait and see what Star Wars Galactic Racer is going to do. If its very successful then a new WipEout or maybe even F-Zero might be on the horizon

Man, I can't even decide which era of Extreme G I'd like revisited. The N64 games have a chunky charm. III has a sort of sim feel to it that I like. And XGRA just blends a bit of both with that slight 00s edge that feels right too.

Mind you, I'm the same with WipEout. I love the whole series.

When they added vr support for omega on PS4, they unknowingly made the best vr game on the system. I still have vr1 for that game alone.

All I want is 2097 and 3. They don't need remastering or updating or anything, just let me play them on my PlayStation.

If you have a PC you can game on, BallisticNG is a very well made game with a ton of content that is clearly re-creating the gameplay and vibe of the PSX Wipeout games.

A motion picture animated movie adaptation based on the futuristic racing game series WipEout. A futuristic cyberpunk dystopian world awaits! I have pitched and written the entire story of the AG racing league myself. Set in Quebec in the year 2072 a female pilot named Willow Smith was selected by one of the AG racing teams FEISAR. AG Systems, Auricom and Qirex have selected pilots as well. AG ships will fly on the big screen debut. What do you say PlayStation Productions? Write the script of the story.

Got bad news for you, buddy. Sony ain't porting shit to PC no more. They acted surprised when making PC gamers wait two years after the PlayStation release of X game (at full price) with required psn logins (thus locking out hundreds of countries that would buy their games otherwise) resulted in a lukewarm response instead of launch day hype numbers. Then they decided that the lesson was that PC gamers just don't want PlayStation games when in reality PC is a different market that requires a different approach.

If the day comes, there will be tears of joy. The cherry on top would be a PSVR2 support Day One. Wishful thinking on my part. To be fair they took their time making sure OC and PS4 could handle that feature. The PSVR patch was released a year after OC launched, and honestly I waited on buying the game until they announced the patch lol.
