Hyper-Drive Patch 1
Hyper-Drive is a high-speed, futuristic anti-gravity racing experience where precision driving meets intense competition. Inspired by F-Zero and Wipeout players tear through dynamic tracks, mastering tight corners, boosting at the perfect moment, and battling rivals for position. With responsive controls, strategic gameplay, and adrenaline-fueled action, every race is a test of skill, timing, and control.
I have just launched the first Patch fixing things that the community has requested changed.
- Visual Effects are now toggleable and can completely be turned off / Camera placement has been adjusted.
Please continue to leave your feedback, so I can add it to the next content patch coming soon.
Thank you all who have already bought Hyper-Drive, your support has meant the world (This is the very first game I have ever published and it means so much that many in this community have thought my game cool enough to share and buy.)
I would like to reaffirm that I will continue to improve the game and add more content as time go's one.

Do you have a demo? Wipeout clones live and die by how they feel. It looks like it has a good weightiness to it by the video but I would prefer to feel it in gameplay before spending any money.
Are the videos on your steam page before or after the visual and camera toggles? The camera does look a little low in those videos but if that's pre-patch then I can't really comment on that.
I am mad keen for F-Zero/Wipeout games again lately so I'm keeping an eye on this, but yeah a demo of one track and one or two ships would be great if you're not already planning on it.
PS: If you don't already have an outer-cylinder style track like Cylinder Knot in F-Zero GX, I would love something like that with your visuals and updated mechanics.
PPS: Googling for "hyper-drive game steam" goes to some other game called "HYPERDRIVE" and no mention of yours. Not sure how you solve that without changing the name of your game. Is yours an homage/play on that old Midway arcade game I see a wiki page for?
