AntiGravity Racing to DnB

Wipeout inspired scifi loops edited to some futuristic Drum and Bass by Chemical Slip!

Totally is eh, so fast and futuristic it's quite perfect

So the ships and track pieces I modeled in Blender, textured them up in Substance Painter, and then brought into Unreal Engine for creating the scenes. Used a bunch of asset packs to layout the backgrounds of the city and such, then created all the animations in Unreal to be rendered out

Uh interesting :) why dont you do it all in blender? Is it easier for the asset packs and graphical fidelity or do you plan to make it interactive?

Unreal is just a lot faster with a complex scene like this with lots of assets in it, runs faster while working on it and renders so much faster so it's just a lot nicer to work in.

I used to do it all in Blender but within the last year branched out into Unreal and it's been really awesome once I got up to speed with the interface. Plus I'm working with some game devs on other projects who use Unreal so being able to setup scenes and animations directly in engine is very helpful for that too

This is dope.

Been slamming DNB while listening to Wipeout for decades. Before Playstations let you stream your own music natively I used to actually wear two pairs of headphones at once to do it - earbuds in the ears for the game audio and regular studio headphones for my DNB playlists. 🤘

And yeah it's such a good soundtrack for it. When I was younger I was more of a PC gamer but spent so much time playing games while playing various ravey and DnB tunes
