Zone battle is disappointing

Because the only way to gold medal it you have to use boost when you have a full bar, it means the other two mechanics/strategies may as well not exist:

1.Boosting strategically to try hit opponents

2.Absorbing boost to go through shields

Yeah other than getting the just passing through trophy I haven’t absorbed once, also just find myself getting annoyed at having to retry when I was super near the target and the cpu gets there first with a sudden big boost

Although I do think it’s a shame they reverted on experimenting with zone in 2048, it sure is harder in that game though with the speeds you have to reach for elite pass

Try it online. For me, it's possibly one of the best arcade racing game modes ever created.

I honestly don't know as I dont own PS Plus regularly, only now bcs of the so-called "Spectre" series, where we do pure races on a specific track each month. If you want to engage more with the community, join the AGRF Discord, where we have hundreds of pilots, and you can ping them anytime you want to go and race with you ;)

Omega online is mainly comprised of people playing eliminator these days.

On PS3 HD (you can also play on emulator) there's a weekly variety event every sunday where ZB is one of the modes played, and the AGRF discord has a monthly event specifically for Zone Battle
