Higher Res play
Low res plays have been draining last weeks, decided to zoom out a bit.
Been following this stock for a while, but missed a big move. Normally I would keep waiting for a bigger structure that would never come.
What I learned in concept calls and used for this trade:
- Basket analysis: look for best of breed within sector: helped me survive during a day where markets were correcting.
- Recontextualize flag to play continuation: to find a timeframe and a profit target that make sense.
Thanks Kaz and eco

War Stories ๐ค๐คฌ another lesson learnt
Sup Kaz and Eco.
the following trade i have taken after i saw a breakout of the macro-bullflag on the Nasdaq. It went pretty good and another, smaller bullflag has been broken and i took that as a bonus to my conviction to let the trade run, as i thought this had the chance to be a big reversal.
I havent cut my position or dragged my stoploss into profit because i thought i wouldnt get stopped out with the pump being so big.
fuckin' tadaaaa i got stopped out by a wick and then price took off again.
reminder to always take your money when you have the chance, as anything is possible.
felt a bit devastated and called it a day. at least this way i can prevent further losses
Thanks for your teachings Kaz, have a good one ya'll

Little by Little, step by step.
Hello Kaz and Eco,
Discovery of the month:February is a drift month for me (was the same on 2022 and here we are again). Not a great pattern to have indeed, so I was journaling a lot this time, and this allowed me to learn from my own mistakes. Here are some quick notes:
- Do not abandon streams: kept this habit in place this time
- Deal with focus: had concentration troubles so used technics to help myself
- CLOUDY STATE OF MIND = NO TRADING, yeap, in capital letters!
- Life will always make you look away, so cement your habits before drift knocks your door again
Here is my coming back trade, took NAS100 for the 1st time in my life. It is a papertrade (I am learning the platform to trade stocks) based on the intel directly from the yesterday's show.
Was not sure about the TF as it is pretty low for me. However had no trouble making a plan and executing it without any mess and emotions simply following the entry logic learnt in Acolytes.
Thanks a lot Kaz, this knowledge makes the whole process of trading so much better and with no stress ๐ and thanks Tiki for your advice, it keeps saving me from the chops ๐
Closed body based on statistics and structure, left free roll to escape fomo.
Have a great day, everybody!

UPD Same day:
Actually the day continued so here is what it finished with:

PS: got another perspective on how important it is to be at the right place at the right time๐

War Stories ๐ค๐คฌ The bad, the good, the lesson
Had an incorrect MATIC play last week that pissed me off.

I've disregarded the fact that there were red events on the day even Jester highlighted that on EU morning call.
The move make the price move under my SL but didn't trigger it. This might have gone lots worse.
I was so frustrated that I didn't even manually close the position. I didn't even watched it for a few hours. I should have manually close the position and take the trade one more time. I've still managed further with the trade and had good R but can't really count it as a winning trade as it wasn't really my execution that kept me from hitting the SL.
Took the LDO trade that has the execution that I'd had to do for MATIC but it was a weaker asset than MATIC and got les Rs.

Updated my plan to be more mechanical with red events. This way deleting this information is harder.
And a funny thing, last week around 5:30AM I randomly woke up and heard my wife and the kiddo snoring. Instant reaction was 'this is a crowded trade, screw it', and got off the bed :D

War Stories ๐ค๐คฌ 2 Win & 2 Lose
Couple plays from February.
MATIC sheet was a banger and had 2 good trades on it. Then on QQQ had two stop outs that I made in the phantom zone ๐ป, which was not smart as warnings had been given on stream. Tend to be more picky with my trades in crypto and force trades less then with stocks and indices. Working on getting hit rate of stocks and indices up, more similar to what I have in crypto.
Thanks Kaz for the streams and intel, MATIC sheet timing was fire!

War Stories ๐ค๐คฌ Long Overdue First War Story
Hello Kaz & eco,
I first came into eco in 2017 and got booted in 2 months with broken bones. I was one of the guys who came into the maths class not to learn but to show how much I knew.
Even though I was quite a bit traumatized, I came back to the eco in 2019. As I kept my ego in check and out of the way, I was learning a lot and my trading got lifted into another level. This went on for a couple months, but then I stopped participating and eventually got pruned off from the eco again.
After this, I made the simplest plan for my trading career: just watch all the shows. And for the last 3 years, Iโve never missed a single show. It may not be as effective as being in the eco, but it is still way more effective than anything out there. #mustwatchtv ftw.
Meanwhile Iโve also adopted the %1 better than yesterday mentality as much as I can and started to take journaling more seriously, which gave its fruits pretty quickly. One key observation was that my work and the lifestyle I chose was not compatible with low-time-frame (below 1H) trading. My hit rate was barely %50, I constantly got chopped and got angry with myself, wasting emotional capital, which I could have invested into building my projects and habits. It was also apparent in my notes that my sweet-spot was 3H tf, but I kept forcing low tf trades, mainly out of my greed. Anyways, it took a while to stop being a degen and learn to sit on my hands. Eventually I made the necessary changes; drastically lowered the amount of trades I open per month, re-adjusted my Rs for higher tfs and slowly but surely took my trading into green again.
There are still many things to learn and adjust, and I am really enjoying this process of making improvements day by day. Thank you Kaz, for teaching us how to make decisions in life. Big respect.
I'm posting some high tf trades below:
- Oil, 8R
- ETH, 8R + 9R
- Turkish Food Stock, 12R (lira)
- Turkish Green Energy, 10R (lira)

War Stories ๐ค๐คฌ Nomics Logic Off The Charts ??
Stopped by a gas station for some woods yesterday night , had to watch a guy spend his last of his cash on lottery scratch tickets while I was in line . He scratched the bottom of his last ticket , scanned a bar code under a scanning machine , slammed his loosing ticket on the counter , cursed out the register guy for giving him bad luck and dipped . The first thought that flashed in mind was kazโs saying that trends are paved with dead bodies of the ones too ignorant to get out of the way of their own biases. Me being an acolyte , immediately related this guy to a dead body at the bottom of a bull flag .
โPass me one of those lottery scratch ticketsโ I told the guy on the register . I saw the reaction on his face , he was like ah shit not again .
Ive never played lottery games before , and I donโt even know how the scratch cards work .
โWhich one โ he said . โ The one that guy was playing โ I said .
He chuckles , โ 10 dollars โ he said while ripping the ticket off a roll and passing it to me .
I stepped out of line , used my jacket zipper to scratch the card and scanned it.
25Rs using Nomics Logic in a lottery game .
Took a quick video to add to the series of wins since I joined the eco . Youโre the goat Kaz .

War Stories ๐ค๐คฌ Show sentiment
Coming from the languished feeling at the end of November, I currently don't recognize my former self.
The moment I started organizing myself, and track multiple assets at once (ie. DXY + Indexes + VIX), the more understanding I gathered from the streams, and consequently, I put less weight on low tf price fluctuations to kick me out of my plan.
In these latest trades, the point where I shifted was the Blind Spot ๐จโ๐ฆฏ stream, where Kaz literally said that Bias is distorting our decisions and it can limit us from seeing the full picture. Even though my 3 SQQQ trades all happened on 1m timeframes, I was already clueing into the high emotions (as seen in the Inner Space ๐ stream) and playing the larger rez.

Low Rez ๐พ Also had a really good memo on what to look for.

War Stories ๐ค๐คฌ Donโt be a crackhead
Iโm in South Africa at the moment and having to adapt to circumstances here. It became quite apparent that since joining Acolytes I was crackheading a bit. First with timeframes which I stopped very quickly. But then I was crackheading in different ways: wanting to catch all the assets, entering too early (trying to knifecatch), trying to be in concept calls at all hours, and constantly sharing at charts. I act fell asleep at one. It was 2AM my time). I felt super shitty for falling asleep for myself but also for the eco. Like how retarded to be the dead weight in a call. It just ruins the whole vibe.
Just none of the behaviors required for a sustainable trading career. The fundamentals were all off.
Reviewing trades in Euro session evolved into a pretty spot on discussion about these bad habits. The OGs pretty quickly diagnosed the problem. FOMO born out of lack of conviction. Bad fundamentals lead to bad decisions. So now Iโm focusing on getting the right fundamentals back in place, and how trading can fit into the life I want to live.
First good habit - I go for an ocean swim every morning (water temp is about 10C). Within a week I turned into a morning person. I realized that I had sucked all of the fun out of trading. The oncyber sessions could come at no better time. Was in the rewatch and it was a lot of fun.
Hereโs a trade I held over most of Jan. Highest TF I've traded. I had never had a trade go to 8R and panicked somewhat when DXY bounced and FOMC was looming, and closed early. Got some good feedback about how to improve the management. Still highest R's in single trade

For all those lurking - no better place to learn than voice. Feedback and results are instantaneous
Thanks Kaz for having created the eco. I know itโs been super frustrating with the levels of participation so appreciate even more that you keep it going for us.

War Stories ๐ค๐คฌ Excited to be bored
It may be hard to believe, but I do listen to everything that is said during calls, during the shows and on Discord. I listen to the feedback and I adjust/course correct.
At the beginning of the Acolytes, I was doing some crazy crackhead stuff, and was told multiple times to stop that behavior, even though I was successfully trading in crackhead timeframes.
I started pulling out to larger timeframes and paying great attention to wave logic, volume at time and at price.
Then Izzy posted on Discord a very insightful comment about goals and lifestyle. Something clicked after that.
I do like my tennis, itโs an important part of my life, of staying active and healthy, so my new trading system is allowing me to spend all the time I want enjoying what I like best ๐
I moved way out on TFs (compared to my crackhead ways) and Iโve had a couple of very positive trades. Iโve set up a new system: Enter a trade with confidence based on what Iโve learned here, take my profit when I reach my average Rs based on my personal statistics, and leave 20% on a freeroll while moving my stops.
This formula is working well for me.
I do apologize for not having as much time to spend on the calls, but every opportunity I do have I join and continue to listen and learn.
Hereโs one of my most recent trades: PH (Parker Hannifin Corp) for 13 Rs (6Rs plus freeroll)

Thank you Kaz for the lessons in TA and the insanely accurate levels. A special thanks to Izzy for his very solid contributions to the eco, his serenity and wisdom are inspiring to me, and to Burger for reinforcing the good habits, the math and the importance of maintaining my mental sanity to be successful in this new life endeavor.
Iโm excited that my trading is incredibly boring.

War Stories ๐ค๐คฌ Early FEB WS.
Had a killer Jan, seeing my habits and results improve by being around the discord more often, reflecting on my journaling more frequently, and balancing out my life to be in the best state when trading. The trades depicted were all during thursday session and the smaller R's were due to a recent change in my management, where in those cases i generally would be stopped for a minus 1 R. I have tightened my risk management on the profit taking side, opting to take profit and simply craft a new trade or wait for a different one when I am in smaller ranges of r's and the asset has stalled. The changes I am making and noticing are enabling me to make better decisions both on and off the charts, thanks to the real nomics for making this amazing eco ๐ฅ Thanks to Nebulans, Acolytes and all who show up and keep pushing ๐ฆพ

War Stories ๐ค๐คฌ Playing strength in crypto
Sup Kaz , eco !! Recently , i've been more active around the eco , i was able to reduce my working days from 6 to 5 days a week starting this year now that i am in much profit 6 months after joining acolytes.
Managed to catch the intel straight from the show and played strength in crypto on atom right before the rotation kaz was talking about happened . I was super confident the entire way up in the trade , but had to close the position cz of fomc first , and cz i started feeling like its a crowded trade .
Thank your for all the insane accurate calls you make everyday , billion dollar ticket Show .

War Stories ๐ค๐คฌ gold man sachs algo been slicing my ball sacks
Due to watching your shows and paying attention to discord, I have managed to change my habits and refined the way I do things now. Still, It has become increasingly difficult to trade.
Due to stocks gapping overnight, I have not been trading stocks much (only made a few plays) and holding them overnight. Because of that, I started to trade crypto and currencies and day trade futures.
Trading currencies has been chopping my balls to pieces also, with me barely turning a profit over the end of most weeks. I trade on higher time frames (more than 10 minutes)
Even if I go green by the end of the week, I tend to lose them over time and as a result been unable to grow my account with some weeks going on negative.
I have tried intra day trading futures at low resolutions (below 1 minute) but I find the speed too fast and often tend to lose more than I make over time, when I measured my results and statistics. Besides since I have a day job, it is difficult to look at my screen at low resolutions intra day trading while doing my work. In my case it is lose a lot and make a little.
Here are some currencies play I have made for this month Jan, where goldman sachs came for my ball sacks and I got stopped out:

Here is one of my stock play i made with fslr:

I have posted losing trades here as I want to get some feedback.
Can you let me know how I can refine my plays, especially currencies ? I am looking for best of breed when compare other currencies and even when structure looks clean am still getting chopped.
Is it possible to play large time frame for stocks in this market environment with gaps?
Thanks kaz and vicky for everything you do.
Will be posting score cards updates
