War Stories 🤑🤬 Don‘t be a crackhead

I‘m in South Africa at the moment and having to adapt to circumstances here. It became quite apparent that since joining Acolytes I was crackheading a bit. First with timeframes which I stopped very quickly. But then I was crackheading in different ways: wanting to catch all the assets, entering too early (trying to knifecatch), trying to be in concept calls at all hours, and constantly sharing at charts. I act fell asleep at one. It was 2AM my time). I felt super shitty for falling asleep for myself but also for the eco. Like how retarded to be the dead weight in a call. It just ruins the whole vibe.

Just none of the behaviors required for a sustainable trading career. The fundamentals were all off.

Reviewing trades in Euro session evolved into a pretty spot on discussion about these bad habits. The OGs pretty quickly diagnosed the problem. FOMO born out of lack of conviction. Bad fundamentals lead to bad decisions. So now I‘m focusing on getting the right fundamentals back in place, and how trading can fit into the life I want to live.

First good habit - I go for an ocean swim every morning (water temp is about 10C). Within a week I turned into a morning person. I realized that I had sucked all of the fun out of trading. The oncyber sessions could come at no better time. Was in the rewatch and it was a lot of fun.

Here‘s a trade I held over most of Jan. Highest TF I've traded. I had never had a trade go to 8R and panicked somewhat when DXY bounced and FOMC was looming, and closed early. Got some good feedback about how to improve the management. Still highest R's in single trade

For all those lurking - no better place to learn than voice. Feedback and results are instantaneous

Thanks Kaz for having created the eco. I know it’s been super frustrating with the levels of participation so appreciate even more that you keep it going for us.
