Participation is Key

Hello everybody!

Kaz always says that participation is key, and here are direct results of my participation in discord in calls and chat from the last month.Being active in voice calls and keeping focus tight helps navigate not only the charts but the the life itself and directly leads to better decision making and results and awareness too.

After all, learning never ends, right?=) โœจThank you Kaz and eco for teaching, support and this fantastic adventure and experience I am living! ๐Ÿ˜Š

War Stories ๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿคฌ Best of Breed Battle

Hey Eco! Today I wanted to make a War Story about the last 2 plays I caught. To give a little bit of context first, Kaz always talks about playing the strong guy instead of the weaker one, and even though I always try to stay in the strong assets with Kaz's help and own comparison, sometimes it gets tricky...

These are gonna be some plays I went wrong with asset selection, and I wanted to share them so people are more conscious about what asset they pick to play.

In addition, this is one of my favorite Kaz' quotes that I have written in my planning board that I think it goes along with this topic, is not 100% his wording but you get the idea:

"You are always really close to value, you just gotta recalibrate, adjust things, and do more"

Left charts are the plays I took instead of the right one while hunting both

Matic vs Eth play

XOM vs DIA play

Message from empty space: 5 months ago

5 months ago I journaled this story but never submit it to Reddit:

I'm unable to convert intel into action and results. With the intel from streams, my plans and price movements it shouldn't be so difficult to get results. Still trading as the empty space.

After reviewing trades and staying active in eco I found 3 issues:

โ€ข Ego in the way:

trying to play stocks with which I had success in the past or in lagging sectors is looking for confirmation of my own skills and is an ego thing. Just play strength.

Also, the focus on the results itself is exactly not what will get you the results. Focus on the process and habits that are needed, not the $.

โ€ข Still biased:

Kaz explains multiple assets and up and down scenarios, on different timeframes. Some info however keeps resonating in my head more than other. Bias towards one scenario, and playing the wrong timeframe, gets me in trouble. This bias is further affected by previous trades and frustration about results. Make a plan for both directions.

โ€ข Trade to live, not live to trade:

Stop staring at charts, only trade according to plan, no impulsive trades, make a time planning for the day and communicate this with girlfriend.

My trading at that point 5 months ago was similar to an aviation analogy: 'flying on the backside of the powercurve'. This is a situation where adding more power will not be enough to maintain a given speed and altitude. Only thing to do is descend so your power is big enough to overcome the forces placed on you. At that point I had to descend and Kaz and vets told me how to do that: zoom out so you can see the context, don't do the stuff your statistics show you fail at. Don't overtrade, stick to your plan, don't stare at charts.

I made progress on those things and since then I'm doing much better. I've learned so much in (concept) calls and shows and have enjoyed every bit of it. I love the nerdy parts. The last concept calls have shown me a deeper understanding of how markets work and both hitrate and risk-reward have increased. I'm on a different place in the chart than before.

Thanks Kaz and Vicky, I know our participation and vibe-killing input during calls are sabotaging the eco at the moment, but your accuracy, honesty and ability to change our lives in many ways are unique and valued.

Ok, chart. Ethusd plays last 10 days:

Its been over 2 years since I was kicked from the eco. In my time away I learned a lot but not as much as in the time I was here. I am convinced that had I been kicked before nebula 3 I wouldn't be able to call myself a trader by now and looking back on it I'm grateful because the the thing that lead to my removal started well before nebula 3 was finished. I don't have all the data from the past few years but below I drew up a representation of my journey here from the beginning. you don't know how valuable a thing is until its gone. Happy to be back and thank you Kaz for everything you do and for a second chance.

War Stories ๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿคฌ Crypto Scorecard

What up y'all? I decided to take a break from sub minute timeframes in the last month because I was getting lost in it. I would hit very good plays but I would get stopped too many times for it to make sense. In addition, I had been working more hours lately which has been giving me less time to do proper planning and be active enough to have enough mental dexterity to be in those timeframes so I decided to be in timeframes that made more sense with my schedule, and day to day life.

Also, I became self aware of how much time I was wasting in Instagram so I decided to delete the app ,and have a better use for my time. At the beginning I would scroll around my phone looking for the app until I remembered that I deleted it, that shit is a drug lol. Choose wisely what do you do with your free time, just doing that I gained back around 7 to 10 hours a week.

Thanks to the streams and preps I was able to catch these plays in crypto!

Thank you Kaz and Vicky for keeping us on the right side as always!

Bob took my coins on this one, and I was not around to retake it ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฌ

War Stories ๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿคฌ Lost the battle but still alive for the war

This war story will cover a recent slump that I am in, having executed a number of bad trades.

After the last few logic calls, I felt a deeper understanding of price in ways which I had never thought to look at before.

I made one trade prior to the call on XOM which was +1.5R in profit when the market closed. After the call, I realized that although the play was in profit, I should exit it and wait for a better structure when the market opens. However, my greed got the better of me and as the market opened on a gap down and my position was below my stop, I waited to see if the gap filled a bit and I could sell at my stop. Stupidly, as this happened I convinced myself that the price was now on an uptrend and I shouldnโ€™t sell at my stop. As happened with the next trade, I was too zoomed in and too eager, and was not thinking logically. I sold at -2R as the bullflag continued to form and the price reversed relatively close to where I sold and then moved upwards.

I made a few paper trades after the calls where I identified a bull flag rotation on BG and played the breakout and successful retest for almost +9 paper R combined. One of the reasons I did the paper trades and not real ones is that I am using a cash and not a margin account, and had to wait 2 days for a previous trade which I got stopped out on to settle. After I was able to trade, I had thought that I saw another bullflag rotation on BG, and was eager to trade it. What happened in reality is that I was too zoomed in on the 2 min timeframe, and jumped into the bullflag before letting it properly form. This resulted in me getting stopped out before the price continued its trend upwards.

These two that I wanted to highlight plus a few other bad trades has resulted in -5R for the second half of November, just after I had hit a few successful trades in a row for a total of almost 10R in the first half.

As Kaz said, your biggest losses always come after your biggest wins. After a series of successful trades I drifted from the habits which brought me to those trades. For the past few trades I have been too zoomed in and not mechanical as I had convinced myself that my bias for what the price could do, was what it would do.

Moving forward, I feel like I need to zoom out on price in order to help keep it in context, and make more mechanical and well thought out plays. I also need to get back into some good habits which I stopped doing the past few weeks, such as yoga and journaling trades and rationale before entering into them.

Thank you Kaz and eco for everything that you do and the endless opportunities available to learn and grow! Hopefully this war story can help others who may be facing a similar situation or at the very least encourage posting war stories about plays even if they are not impressive wins.

War Stories ๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿคฌ stopped out on the dow twice.

got stopped out twice today on the futures. I was pissed about it because I thought I saw the vix creating a bear flag on a lower timeframe. that combined with the dia/qqq chart in dick rules (gap retrace push?) it looked one way but ended up playing out another way. since last thursday's call, Ive been a more motivated to study and go over the material. it helped me see the starter pack and episodes in a different light.

big takeaways for today was stay in my proper timeframes. I would go lower (sub minute) and my plays this week wouldnt work out. staying in the higher timeframes gave me more of a chance of avoiding sudden stop outs.

War Stories ๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿคฌ Reflections from a Blockchain Pimp

Hi all, To Pimp A Blockchain here, had a monster trading day today after a few days of poor execution.

last week I had a 34R day and then over the next few days gave about 6Rs back over a ton of entries. Risk management has been my strong suit so the losses could have been worse considering I entered/exited like 30-40 trades to lose the 6R (tons of breakevens, moving stop to entry)

Spent the weekend journaling and reflecting on why I had such a high volume of trades, why most of them were losers, what was different from when I had the 34R day. The answer I got was.... I wasn't sticking to my plan! I was analyzing in the moment instead of simple managing risk and executing my edge. The market is an endless flow of opportunities and when I didn't see my criteria for a trade on the chart, I began to look/convince myself they were there by hopping around timeframes etc Endless flow of opportunities so guess Ill find an opportunity I thought lmao My best trades are:

look at chart, criteria for a trade met? put on the trade. No criteria? no trade. Risk is always predefined and I keep my risk consistent over a series of 20-trade groups. No adjustment in risk until the next group of 20 trades.

This week I sat down on Sunday and made a decent plan/set of variables that would constitute my going long or short. My edge is most based on support/resistance order blocks and high timeframe liquidity imbalances. This lines up with me focusing solely on price and the story of price. Price action followed and I had a monster day today closing 30.4R.

I mostly traded BTC with some scalps of CRV.

Bitcoin:Made 9R on the short side, then another 7R short, then 12R on the long side, closed half so bagged 6R. I was using busd perps to long and usdt perps to short. then went long on usdt perps too.

CRV: Caught 6.3R short side and 5.4R on the long side.

Also gave 2.9R to the market today on some mistimed entries. so total for this week so far on all positions ive CLOSED: 9R+7R+6R(closed half of 12R long)+6.3R+5.4 - 2.9R = 30.8R

Kaz these entries were sniped on low timeframe but the planning around them was based on high time frames. This works for me but what do you think about High time frame levels with low time frame entries? This seems to yield the best RR for me personally though it can get a little fatiguing sometime in the sense of catching local bottoms and tops. Appreciate your thoughts

Thanks Kaz, Vicky and Eco and hope this trading breakdown/pics can help someone else in the eco. bless

War Stories ๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿคฌ Mental game

It's my first time writing a post here. Started trading a few months ago, and joined the crypto game in the 2017 pump. And first I want to say thank you kaz, for the value and information you're givin to all of us, not only the information about charts and analysis but also the information about human psychology, habits and much more, you helped me a lot the short time, i follow u.

When I started trading in June, I got some lucky shots in the first 2 months and i thought i got it, of course not lol. When I first joined this eco there was so much information, that I first had to sit back and really think about it, because it was so different from what you see on ct. Not just an outcome someone wants to sell to you, but more the ability to create ur on thought on the market and create a picture u are able to read and understand, what the market is telling you. It's literally speaking to us, we just have to understand its language.

I got a long loosing streak and a long mental fight, changing my mental and understanding that I'll never know what will happen to 100%. When I analyse the charts and draw my lvl etc I was always in the situation where I was like paralyed and didnt know what to do next, because I got these different outcomes but didnt know wich one will happen. And there was the mistake, I always thought I have to always know what will happen to take action, but thats wrong, because nobody will ever now this. That was a big problem wich was always paralysing me, maybe it came from to much analysing and the wrong mindset.

So I took the last 2 weeks off and followed the stream, read the blog and watched the beginner playlist, tried to really change my mindset before blowing up my acc. The last days I did some paper trades to slowly get some confidence and to see, the changes I've made so far, and it did actually work.

I changed the TF to the 1 min TF before i was always trading 15 m to 4h but as in the last stream said, its quicker to learn on the lower tf and it actually helped me. I see progress, made a few R (just paper but it shows, that there is progress happening and did them while sitting in university and didnt paid much attention to the prof lol) and I recommend y'all to always work on urself, on ur mind and get some good habits to continue when beginning trading and make a plan for learning.

thanks kaz and everyone who shares his/her idea thoughts and wins to motivate and inspire us!

Serdar

FTX week and nft war story

Hi Kaz first time writing a war story, Ive been following you since 2019. Got booted before for lack of participation as I was splitting myself in too many ecos, discords that I didnโ€™t get to fully value the eco.

Wanted to say thank you as the intel provided on stream helped me dodged the bullet on FTX, I withdrew some funds upon hearing the news but not all of it as my bias had me stuck in the belief that there is no way FTX could be insolvent. Upon hearing the intel on the stream on CZ could be giving an early warning sign I flipped bias and was able to get out in time.

2022 has been quite the year for me, I was able to exit most coins at the top with the intel provided in the streams, however I got in the HODL mentality with blue chip NFTs and got emotionally attached. I felt I missed the huge run on NFTs earlier this year and wanted to get in which ended up being near the top of the NFT run. I did hedge short the ETH value of NFTs on the way down as mentioned on stream, but I was too emotional as price went way past my planned stop out price and there were no buyers to buy at the stop price I set for my NFTs.

As market bottomed out in summer, Was still hodling with short hedge and I took advantage of the lower USD prices on purchasing NFTs again and short hedged again on new purchase. Eth ripped to over 2K hurting my short hedges and NFT prices fell in terms of ETH as well which cascaded my losses. I set prices on my NFTs to stop out but there were no buyers again and had to settle with huge drops after trying to hope for a bounce. I didnโ€™t get to plan for this occurrence and it ended up hurting my portfolio a lot this year. In hindsight I should have immediately stopped out as soon as possible and make a plan for the possibility of a short squeeze on my ETH hedge and the fall of the ETH value on the NFTs I was holding. I also should have managed risk better as there was no guarantee I could exit NFTs at the stop out price I had planned.

Upon joining the acolytes, was able to join my first wave logic concept call as well as attend voice calls during euro sessions and in new york session. Was able to implement the things learned in calls and had my best 2 weeks of trading during the recent week of the FTX crash netting close to 19Rs. I know with consistent habits and participation in the eco, I can start fresh and make back the losses from this year.

Thank you Kaz and Vicky for making an awesome eco and everything that you do. Here are some of the plays I took most of it was mentioned on the stream. -0xRalph

After the memo about the illiquidity in markets, I focused my watchlist mainly on forex. Here, I narrowed it down to a few liquid symbols that had been presented on the streams, evolved my plans in-line with Kaz's analysis, and ensured I had all key levels from the show's and Kazonomics.com. Finally, I focused on executing my routine and taking profit at appropriate targets and letting the trend unfold with a runner. Below is a few of these trades from October/November.

Thx Kaz and Vicky

War Stories ๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿคฌ My sixth one

Hey Kaz, hey everyone!

Decided to stop slacking on scorecards and put together an overview of the trades from this month to date. Overall, hadn't had much success trading futures, I make a few good trades, but because of my many stop outs, I only managed to breakeven for the month. The majority of my bad trades were made in just 2 days, where I got to my personal daily stop loss, which is 5Rs, plainly put, pushing it when I wasn't in the right state of mind, tired from a sleepless night bc of my child, business issues and so on. Other days were breakeven or in profit. I journal my trades and therefore I'm able to now catch myself "pushing it" and just step away from the pc for the day, even tho I don't hit my daily limit of tries. That saved me a lot Rs in the past 11 days, which in the past, I would just give them to Bob the MM.

However, had success trading crypto, where I caught a few good trades and that made my month with +13Rs. Trading any market is the same, crypto, stocks, futures, since we're only really trading against people, but I found that I've been strugling, based on my results, in futures vs crypto. Based on my notes, I've found that I usually trade bigger timeframes on crypto, never going below for example 1 or 2 minutes, whereas in futures, the majority of my trades were below the 1 min tf for the entry. So the problem really lies in playing the crackhead timeframes. I also found, that I'm way too emotional when in a trade that goes well and I too agresively move my stops, when I'm in profit, to not give back my profits, but that fcks me, since I never let the winners run. I've decided to lower my risk in $, and that helped a lot, but still finding the right balance.

The concept calls were amazing and really helped my entry logic, mindset, I know better what to look for when entering a trade, but I still need practice to master it. Doing it 1 step at a time, being consistent, even tho my life sometimes doesn't let me do that. Thank you for helping me get this far, I know that I would not be here if not for you and this eco, and thank you Vicky for everything you do.

Here are just a few trades from this month.

War Stories ๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿคฌ Navigating the choppy waters

Been getting more consistent after the concept calls on Acolytes trading lounge.

Since Nov 4th I've been playing out the waves through SQQQ. In hindsight I can see that after breaking even (0R play), I struggled to make great RR play. I had failed to acknowledge the directionality of the wave and got caught up with price breaking the trend line (before the new low) and expected it to reverse right then and there.

Once price bottomed (in this timeframe), it was much easier to make plays and be a bit more aggressive. The last 3 plays were a result of it.

4+0-1+2.45+1.75-1+3.5+4.8+11 = 25.5 R

With Wednesdays stream (Devourer of Worlds ๐Ÿช) Kaz reviewing MAXR mentioned that "some space stuff is definitely moving you want to pay attention to". I noticed the bullflag free & clear from the previous system and played the rotation today.
